We Travelled from Cardiff to meet our Friends at The Ivor Hael, When we arrived our friends who we were meeting hadn't arrived so the young lady behind the bar said we could sit where we wanted when our friends arrived we sat down and checked the menu and went up to the bar to place our order a nice young lady took our order she was very helpful and polite our food arrived quite quickly it looked amazing my wife and I really enjoyed the food it was very hot and plentiful, after our food we were unable to have a sweet because the main course filled us
It was a well worth the Trip from Cardiff to this hotel for food and we will be going back there
The young lady who served us made us very welcome and she was polite and friendly

This is the second time I've been here in the space of a year, not by choice. Both times I thought the food was average at best. Didn't get my medium steak cooked correctly on both occasions and no apology.
Be warned take cash, because unbelievably, they don't have card facilities. The first time I had to go across the road, in the rain, to get money out of the hole in the wall which charges you a fee.
It's the first place I've ever eaten at which only takes cash. I was/am amazed.
