Lovely welcoming staff which accommodated us on a busy Saturday night without a booking. Both of us went for the minted lamb rump displayed on the specials board, which was a great choice as the meal was perfect. Lovely surroundings, great atmosphere and not too busy/loud.

Very disappointing food ,service, 50 mins waiting for food. Felt like we were being a nuisance. Will never go back there!!!!

If you want to spend a lot of money on mediocre food, and wait 50 mins for lunch and be treated as if you are a nuisance then this is the place for you. £18 for a burger which was ok, £10 for a stale baguette, £10 for 4 chicken strips, we were huffed at for asking for table water and if the baguettes come with chips, and a black coffee, and if we could eat outside on a lovely Summers day..I don't think they can cope with more than 10 customers. It is not a place I would eat at again.

We really enjoyed a good evening here at the end of our holiday. Friendly and good service, great food and a nice atmosphere.

I?m giving it a 1 star however I?d prefer to give it a 0, this is due to the fact that they got my step mothers order wrong as she had asked for no salad and received mushrooms and tomatoes. When she asked for it to be re made as the mushrooms were all over the gammon there was a sigh as if they didn?t want to make it, then they brought out the gammon and eggs with no chips and no new cutlery even though chips were asked for. The young girl who served us had the worst attitude ever and appeared to be annoyed at the fact she had to take the food back and proceeded to give us attitude.
My burger had no sauce as was dryer than ever to the point I had to put my own sauce on and that didn?t help much there was also cartilage in my burger.
The table of 6 besides us was offered a jug of water on their table and we weren?t until it came to the end of our meal (they were offered straight away).
There was music playing in the background and we were placed in the ?tea room? as the ?pub? tables around the corner were all reserved however after being in there for 40-60 minutes the tables were all still empty.
And as we were leaving the young girl who had served us said with a sarcastic tone ?we hope to see you again soon?.
We were also made to wait 20 minutes before we could order as the kitchen wasn?t opening until 5pm even though it said food served from 12pm.
Overall, I would not recommend this place and I wouldn?t go back after the service we received today.

We had a lovely meal in The Old Barn Inn. There were six of us and they catered really well for my wife's gluten intolerance.

We had been out for the day on Saturday 17th May and called in off the off chance and the staff made us very welcome . Plus dog friendly . The food was fantastic and the desserts were delicious all home-made . Would definitely call there again, many thanks .

£18.95 for possibly the worst burger I?ve ever had. It was burger van standard at absolute best! Never again!

We are staying at a campsite nearby. 4 people and 3 dogs visited today. 8/5/25. We all had starters and main meals that were home cooked and delicious. The lady that served us was warm and welcoming and gave all our dogs a buscuit. We'll worth a visit.

Upon arrival we was greeted by a very plesant waitress , when ordering our food the I assume manger of three evening approached our waitress and formerly told her she hadn't done her job properly will a different order all at the foot our table , interrupting our order and embarrassing the poor young girl, how unprofessional
Once we receive the bill the same acting manger asked us to check the bill which we noticed an item we did not order when questioned she aggressively replied , my toll does not have the button for what you did have, rude and unprofessional as what we assume is the acting manager .

Plenty of parking. You can phone up to reserve or just turn up. Lots of interesting items displayed around the venue. On our visit we was looked after by the owner, she was polite, friendly and also interested in our visit to the area. The alcohol free range is spot on with plenty to choose from. They serve Guinness Alcohol Free. The food tastes exceptional with the only downside been that certain meals were unavailable due to the demand from the Bank Holiday Weekend. Payment via Cash or Card is accepted and you can set up a tab to pay at the end.

We had a lovely meal here this weekend. We booked in advance and they were super helpful over the phone. When we got there it was spacious, welcoming and warm. Every member of staff we interacted with was so kind and friendly, especially towards the children. We were a group of eight, and our orders were taken quickly and the food didn't take long at all. The food portions were really generous and everyone loved their meals. We had such a relaxed time, thank you all so much.

Loved our visit to the Old Barn Inn .
From the minute we walked in we were made so welcome and given a choice of places to sit .
We chosen the conservatory which was bright and airy.
Service was exceptional ,our drinks order was taken straight away and the waitress returned to take our food order .
I had the hunters chicken with new potatoes and salad and my partner had the steak pie (specials board ) with chips and a side of veg . The food was so tasty and the pie didn't touch the sides . We found the cost very reasonable .
We would definitely visit again ,great place .
