Absolutely stunning hotel! This room was booked as a surprise for my 30th and it was so lovely! everything was immaculately clean, very comfy and all the staff were very warm and welcoming.
The only down side I would say was my partner asked for prosecco to be in the room, waiting as a surprise as I entered, he had to go downstairs to ask, he wasn't really happy about this.
Also the cooked breakfast wasn't really nice, everything was cheap which is a disappointment as you're so close to such amazing Welsh produce! I would suggest going elsewhere if you like a breakfast.
Other than that it was a lovely stay and outstanding views

The Giltar was perfect for us. Room twin. Bright and airy. Modern. Cleaned to good standard every day. Lovely location overlooking sea. Breakfast good choice. Good quality food. Good service. Had meal in restaurant too. Also v good quality food. Nice choices. Treated ourselves to cream tea as well. Also lovely choice made fresh. All in all v good hotel. Would recommend. Only thing I didn't like was shower as has large fixed head and I prefer a movable one as easier to use. Thankyou Giltar for a lovely week away !

Had a great stay at The Giltar Hotel. It was so impressively refurbished. Edward on reception was knowledgeable on rooms available. An excellent Breakfast was served by Jackie who was so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are excellent and pristine clean. Will definitely be back ?

Stayed for one night in the busy season. We stayed in room 315 which has a side view. When we opened the door there was a very very strong odour which we assumed was damp. We opened the window but unfortunately the smell didn't go during our overnight stay. The room itself was ok, probably a bit dated, in particular the bathroom which was very dated. The shower was awful and the shower head definitely needs replacing. The tiles were dated along with the flooring. Bed was really comfortable and we both slept well. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide choice of healthy or full English breakfast options. Lots of cereal, yoghurts, fruit, pastries and juice available. Fantastic location on the seafront, limited parking but luckily we found a space around the side. The staff were amazing, all so friendly! In particular Lewis who worked in the bar, Matthew and the dark haired lady who also served breakfast (sorry, we didn't get your name!). Overall a lovely place to stay!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a friendly greeting. The staff are all and I say all amazing. We have just returned from 4 nights staying bed and breakfast. We eat in the restaurant one night and all of the food is excellent. We had a lovely huge bedroom, it was spotless and a great night sleep. You can sit outside on the promenade in a small area or just enjoy drinks etc.. in the bar. The garden is well kept by a lovely gardener. It is an ideal spot for the beach and near to town. I just don't know what else to say other than it's a dream in Tenby.

We stayed at the Gilter hotel over May bank holiday, we parked in the multi story when we arrived, it?s a short walk from the hotel and has a parking app so you can top up . We had a nice welcome from the hotel , reception is right by the door and very clean and bright. We checked in, I had booked a premier double room with a sea view, because we don?t get chance to go away very often and I wanted to see the sea view and make the weekend special. We had been given a family room on the 4 th floor, with very high windows with a flat roof directly underneath, I could only see a small amount of sea and sky . We didn?t have the energy to ask to move as we had been at work all day and driven 4 hours , I did mention by disappointment the next day, to reception, to be told that?s how the windows are in the hotel !!! Please sell the rooms as obstructed view and not be greedy , it?s clearly not a complete sea view. The room was clean and very nice, but not what I had booked . The breakfast was ok on Sunday morning, Monday morning we had to wait 40 minutes and mind was awful, the staff did apologise and they were clearly run off their feet, because there was a large coach party in the next dining room ! Again don?t be greedy get more staff in to cover . We had a few drinks in the hotel bar, it?s very clean and bright, the bar person, was really nice . We went out site seeing on Sunday and when we arrived back we couldn?t get back into the car park, so if you want to go out and about get a hotel with its own car park. The sea front car is also close by , but it?s getting a space. I wouldn?t choose this hotel again , but I would come back to Tenby as it?s beautiful

An absolutely beautiful hotel with stunning views. We stayed here for my wedding. Hannah was fantastic with the day and I can't thank her enough, all the staff were fabulous. The rooms were so clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was so tasty as was our wedding breakfast.

A lovely hotel. I had a single room and although situated at the back of the hotel overlooking the carpark the room was spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The food and the service were excellent.

Absolutely disgusted, my grandmother stayed there for her birthday and she got £150 stolen from her room out of her bag,
The receptionist was no help at all with the problem, didn?t even bother look at cctv or speak to staff she used the elderly card against my grandmother saying she must be confused.
I will never recommend this hotel and every time someone asks about a hotel in Tenby I?ll be saying about this!

Giltar was ok room was small and you could hear everything, bed was uncomfortable and room was cold, Food was over cooked!! The biggest problem was reception staff whitch were very unhelpful could not be bothered to help when a problem was reported to them and we were told it was our problem not there's!!! Would not recommend staying there not value for money
