Would not shop here again, staff at the till very rude not even interested about the customer talking amongst themselves, used the toilet and omg absolutely awful very dirty blocked toilet and no toilet roll very disappointing

Very disappointed on my visit to the Range on Saturday. Not only was the guy on the garden section quite rude and unhelpful. The counter staff were too. I went in to buy a gazebo, now this item is quite heavy, yes I should of got a trolley. But not one of these people offered to help. It took 4 of them to find a price for a lady with a broom. All the while I was struggling to lift this item, I had already carried it through the store on my shoulder, for then having to wait at the till point for all 4 of them to find this price for a lady. Finally when a till op came to the till, looking like she just started her shift (there was a que by then) and all of the 4 other staff were still trying to get a price sorted for a broom, that cost £7.00. I slid the item to the till so they could all see it was heavy, she served me and then watched me put the item up onto my shoulder, those 4 members of staff at the customer service were still there and again not one of them asked me if I needed help.
I am a store manager of a large retail shop and if my staff behaved in this way I would be having a stern word. Your market at this store is predominantly older people do you treat everyone this way? I would also be advising them all to do some customer service training. Just remember a smile doesn't cost anything.

Huge store with so much choice.
Staff very friendly and helpful
Didn't have what I wanted but nice browsing over the vast range that they do have. I always appreciate a toilet and cafe in a shop.

The Range? More Like The Ruin.
Ordered an AC unit through click and collect?silly us for assuming ?collect? meant ?get something intact.? Turned up to find the box looking like it had survived a bar fight: ripped, taped up like a school art project, and clearly opened before. After a charming wait that felt longer than British summer, a manager eventually materialised and assured us?without checking?that it was ?fine.? Spoiler: it wasn?t.
Got home, plugged it in, and surprise! It sounded like a jet engine trapped in a blender. Useless, defective, and exactly what you?d expect from something manhandled and taped back together like a crime scene. Should?ve left it in the store and walked out with our dignity.
The Range used to mean quality. Now it just means rage. If you enjoy wasting time and money on broken goods backed by dismissive service, you?re in for a treat.
