I went here for an eye exam and to buy some glasses. I was seen by Behnaz who did an incredible job with the eye exams. She was very thorough and patient. It was definitely one of the best eye exam experiences I've had. She made me feel very comfortable and explained everything very well. I then wanted to purchase some glasses and all of the staff on the shop floor were friendly and nice. I can be a bit indecisive but they were very patient and helped me choose a pair of glasses that I absolutely love. They helped adjust the glasses to fit comfortably which I have struggled with in the past. Overall, an amazing experience. Thank you to all of the staff, I will definitely be coming back for my routine eye exam and future needs.

I was seen by Behnaz who is one of the newly qualified opticians and found her to be very thorough and brilliant. I have very complex eyes and she explained everything to me in detail including the eye exercises she gave me to do at home. All the shop floor staff were professional and super helpful. They helped me choose really nice frames and did a very good deal for me. It?s a nice atmosphere and everyone is happy to help. Highly recommend.

Absolutely terrible service. I'll never go there again.When I first selected my glasses, the member of staff who served me seemed nice enough, not that helpful with helping me choose my glasses, but enough for what I needed.When I returned to collect the two pairs of glasses I bought, this was where I realised I'd made a mistake shopping here.The lady who served me wasn't too bothered about adjusting the glasses for me, and every time I mentioned something was not correct, she would brush it off with a simple, 'Oh, but it just a little out' and then pout when I made it clear I wanted them adjusted.At the same time, I told her I felt the glasses were not that clear and she told me it normal, for sunglasses to be less clear that standard lenses.When I compared them with my old glasses that I've had for over 10 years, I found the old glasses much better than the new ones for clarity.I brought them back and was told everything looks right but I would have to have another eye test. It turned out, they had written my prescription down wrong, the lady wrote 66 in stead of 86, and the excuse was the writing on my prescription was too small.I would also like to point out that while this was being looked into, there were two other members of staff sitting chatting on a sofa behind me and failed to notice a customer waiting to be served at the door. They only saw her because they decided it was time to go for lunch.When making an appointment for the retest, the clerk was trying to impose the date to come in, not asking if the date was possible. I have a job and cannot just leave whenever I want. I had to be quite blunt about this for her to let me ask her about dates I could make it.Finally, I had a retest, as mentioned above, the reason was because my prescription was written down incorrectly and it was finally resolved.The optometrist and a guy who served me when I collected my corrected glasses were very polite and professional, but everyone else I spoke to seemed to hate their jobs and couldn't be bothered to do their job properly.Honestly, the worst service I have ever received. I definitely, cannot recommend The Optic Shop and certainly will never go there again. Plus, you only get 30 days to sort anything out. Specsavers across the road offer 100 days return policy where you can even change the glasses if you don't like them. I'll be going there next time.NOTE: On both occasions, my glasses had filthy lenses and they didn't provide a cleaning cloth, so I had to wait until I got home to clean them properly. Even when they checked if the lenses were correct, they messed them up with fingerprints and didn't clean them.

I have been going to the Optic Shop for the last couple of years.Every time I have visited I have been greeted by friendly staff members who are happy to help me with my needs and answer any questions I had.Despite having laser eye surgery they have been great at keeping an eye on the health of my eyes and ongoing checks to make sure my eyesight has remained as good as it was when I got the surgery.They have also helped me with glasses for using the computer daily which has helped immensley with headaches.In particular I was helped by a lady called Behnaz who was great at helping me find glasses to suit my appearance whilst giving a bubbly and friendly attitude.I highly recommend the Optic Shop Swansea.

Being going to the optic shop in Swansea for about 20 years, but the service today was terrible I won't be going back the nose pad on one my new designer glasses broke and the woman I dealt with was one of the most ignorant people I've ever met. Despite telling her they haven't been bent she insisted they had and then started pointing out other issues with them and blaming me for it. The glasses were a couple of months old and for most of the day I wear another pair for work. I'd expect them to last a lot longer than a couple months for the price their charging.

Always have great service here, the staff are very knowledgable and have years of experience.Always a friendly welcome, but had a great turnaround for a new pair of glasses this week, dispite Covid and the festive season.
