Great restaurant staff are very friendly food is out standing so tasty fab place to go any time of day and if you have never been there you need to as you don't know what you are missing out on it's the only place I will go for food in Neath ??????????

Went there today for food with my mum and we both thoroughly enjoyed would go there again 100% staff amazing food amazing my mother had gammon egg and chips she really enjoyed it I had the chicken wrap chips salad and slaw couldn't fault anything with this place thanks guys ?

The Old Market Tavern has always been a great spot. I used to pop in after shopping for a basic sausage and chips, but the menu's had an upgrade and it?s a bit on the fancier side now. Totally fair with changing tastes, but it?s not really what I come out for, so I probably won?t be back for food. That said, the milkshakes have always been delicious and worth returning for. The atmosphere?s still great and the staff are always lovely.

A friend suggested the Market Tavern for a breakfast so I went with said friend to give it a go. What can I say but one of the best breakfasts I've had for a while. The service from the staff was excellent and the food came out pipping hot!
2 large breakfast, 2 latte and 2 OJ for around £30, you can't go wrong.
We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

As a rule I don't generally order food from cafe's because it doesn't arrive as nice (no reflection on anyone's delivery) but my delivery from here was perfect as nice as when we go in. Yummy ?

I first heard of these guys online and ordered. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality, taste, heat and quantity of food.Then I decided to visit the place, and top marks. Staff and service was flawless. Beautiful setting and food, just spot on, once again.I have become a regular customer of the old market tavern. Keep It up, guys. Thanx. Xx

24/11/24 Called in on off chance for breakfast, first time here, food was good place clean and friendly and reasonably priced. Only criticism is the smell of cigarette smoke waffting in from the back door put me off from calling again.

Food stopped serving at 5pm and place closes at 6pm on Friday due to current quietness. The coleslaw is to die for (wish I could have the recipe for home). Chicken burger was delicious. Service was excellent, from taking my initial phone query right until I closed my tab out. It was very quiet at half 4 which further confirmed the earlier closing. Very friendly, informative and I'd definitely recommend.
