Absolutely disgusting service, arrived at 6.15 with a booked reservation and it was all closed ?, when I rung them a man eventually turned up with no apologies saying people get overlooked occasionally ?, REALLY , offered us a room with single beds even tho I booked a double! We walked out , disgusting service and a rude man !!!! Don't go here !!!! ???????

An ideal location in an attractive area with views over the estuary, ample parking, pleasant motel-style rooms and very friendly people.

Booked thee rooms, but when we got there they had double booked apparently . We were told we had to share a room and the staff were extremely rude. Said it wasn?t their problem and we had to sort it out! We ended up not staying and he was even more rude as we left. Do not waste your money or time booking this place!

Booked 3 double rooms for family who were coming to our daughters wedding. What can I say! We had to pick up keys because we were told there would be no one on reception after 9 also when guests arrived bar was closed at 9. Nowhere to get food or drink / water . Rooms were filthy not clean with clothes and somebodies medication in a drawer ! No coffee/ milk / sugar supplies to even make one coffee . No staff to complain to. No breakfast available . Family had to go to local garage to get water and a sandwich and had to wait till following day at lunchtime to eat ! Not good when they were elderly and diabetic . I would not recommend to anyone and I?m so upset that I put family in such an awful place. A friend also booked a room there that weekend , she opened her curtains to have a view of the bins outside her window and brick wall !DONT waste your money ! There are better hotels in Swansea

Set in amazing surroundings but a hotel - no ! The owner LOVES his golfers but could not care less about guests staying in the rooms. It?s Awful. Everywhere is dirty. Rooms are basic and cleanliness is not priority here. I will say the bedding is spotless but that?s the only positive. The bathroom ? filthy black grout. Don?t walk barefoot - who knows what?s on the floors?? No loo roll. Staff swear and drink on duty. But so does the owner who sits around drinking and is happy to serve you drinks in dirty glasses. Outside furniture is plastic conference chairs and the tables are a hazard. The ?restaurant ? please don?t ! It?s all a joke. Someone who cared could make this place so wonderful. It?s a shame. So sad that the owner doesn?t care.

This is a good Bed and Breakfast venue. Comfy beds with crisp white bed linen; brilliant white towels; delicious full English breakfast. All this , is set in the centre of a super golf course, which has outstanding views. The golf club bar, is available to use . The venue is a great base in which to explore many of the coastal bays, all within 15 miles. The cliff walks are amazing and challenging. Lastly, Adrian and all his staff, are extremely approachable and helpful. Score is for the overall 7 day experience. 4th time staying here.

When we arrived it looked nice until we entered the room it was dirty run down, we drove over 4 hours and just wanted a coffee the room had no milk no towels no toilet roll the shower leaks DIRTY DISGUSTING PLACE we had to find a shop to get some toilet paper and milk the bin in the toilet hadn?t even been emptied there was mould by the windows stains on carpet empty wrappers behind the bedside cabinets it was 2 single beds pushed together wasn?t even a double but. We did find the bed comfortable our check out was 10am but we had a cleaner (well if you can call her that) tried walking in at 9.30 we was still packing our bits so she waited outside making us rush I must say it wouldn?t take alot to make this place nice and my wife went to the bar to get a glass when she came bk it was filthy we didn?t touch it we had to clean the coffee mugs before using them we had 3 sachets of coffee and 3 tea bags to last us 3 days anyway I would never go bk and after seeing the reviews I will make sure I read them in future before booking the shower had hairs in it I had to clean it myself THEY NEED TO CLEAN THE PLACE AND MODIFY THE ROOMS ITS A PIG STY

No point in saying much as people have already made bad reviews, we went with an open mind but all I can say is yes it was dusty dirty and full of cobwebs all round the room kettle corroded inside and they did not have another to replace so had to go without a brew, go to the bar for one no one around, manager could not be bothered showing his face, was told we had to book 2 nights but after seeing the place how bad it was we paid one night as we were at a wedding, came home didn't bother about breakfast god knows what we would be eating off, I did notice however that the food hygiene was a 2, that said it all, bathroom toilet leaked every time you flushed walls mouldy, no toiletries in the bathroom not even a bar of soap and no hair dryer took my own as I was told on the phone by the manager just incase there is none, damp and units were sticky don't think the room had been cleaned for months, nicer rooms shown on there site are probably kept for people who book a golf package, do not recommend at all cost

How could you Gower Golf Club....? Provide such a filthy facilities, substandard environment for a lovely, young couple' s special wedding day. I went to a family wedding on Saturday, June 10th. Photos of the appalling toilet facilities have already been posted on an earlier review/ Judith L. We had a woodlice among the dinner plates on our table, ; also a chair had a ripped cover/ a gaping hole.. Glasses, coffee cups were smeared , the sugar/ stirrer container was also dirty and returned to bar staff. I understand that there were also problems with accommodation. Many young children/ families and guests had to suffer the use of these inferior facilities, which had been financed by this young couple. For shame Gower Golf Club!

Experienced the Gower Golf Club for a friends wedding. We were staying the night prior to the wedding as part of the bridal party and we had booked a table for 5.30 for us to have food. The bride called at 5.15 to let the owner know that we were on our way to be told that he was running short of food and he won?t be onsite as he had to pick his daughter up but he would be approx 45 mins and that we would need to get a takeaway or go out for food!!! When we arrived the was no staff on site at all, there were a couple of lads sitting out in the terrace who advised us to serve ourself from the bar and make a note of what we had and when the owner come back we could settle up, which apparently was the norm. As you can imagine we were a little shocked. Whilst waiting an American chap came in to check in, we advised that we didn?t work there and the owner wasn?t here but he will be back shortly. We noticed that there was a handwritten note on the bar with names and room numbers written on it along with room keys so the American guest took his keys and off he went. The owner returned an hour and half after we got there and advised again about food that we could go to the pub up the road as it would be lively! Taking into account we had a 5 year old with us night before the wedding didn?t really appeal so we ordered food of Deliveroo. Rooms were basic, tired and not well looked after, cobwebs, walls dirty with stuff that looked like it had been spilt down the wall and dirty saucers. No rooms for some wedding guests even though they had confirmation of booking, no bar staff, no change in tills. One minute told to pay by card then cash because card machine was in the other bar. Selling peanuts in the bar when there was a child with a serve nut allergy and telling the parents to take the kid else where! The owner was more interested in the golf members that were there and seemed like he really didn?t care about the wedding party. It is a shame that it was a bit of a shambles as it could be a very profitable wedding venue if he made an effort, gave the venue some TLC and changed his attitude.

lovely day at my sons wedding, Bride and groom looking stunning. little grandsons perfect. lovely company family and friends. however the venue was dirty. ill prepared and staff were not trained. insufficient staff. no tea and coffee available at all. toilets were a disgrace. rooms for those staying were not ready. left over plates and food in rooms from previous occupants. Long queues at bar as no staff, Owner was so rude and inconsiderate. Photographer had to ask him to cut the grass. my son who was the groom cut his own cake and served it to guests. a dead wood louse on table cloth of one guest and holes in table cloths. complete and utter mess. fortunately we are a family who will get on with things and we enjoyed each others company. Do not book this venue for any function. The owner has no respect for his business and no desire to offer a professional and high class service . Disgraceful.
