Riverbend is a great starting point for a canoe adventure. The calm waters and scenic surroundings make for a pleasant paddle. The rental facilities are well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Booked my wedding here, and can't recommend it highly enough. Friendly helpful staff, freedom to make my wedding bespoke, so feels very personal. Rachel can't do enough to help to make sure your big day runs smoothly. Marquis is stunning, and love the relaxed vibe of the whole venue. Very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a gorgeous venue with the freedom to have your wedding your way, then look no further.

Attended a wedding here on 24th June that turned out to be an absolute shambles! 30 min plus wait at the bar. No snacks or drinks available to purchase for children attending ( several parents had to go to a local shop). When squash was finally provided, it was in glass bottles which are totally inappropriate and dangerous as all children were 6yrs and under. Soaking wet sofas/chairs outside due to rain earlier that day. Welcome drinks that nobody had been made aware of, containing flies.Only disabled toilet available for females ( ladies toilets bocked )Broken and dangerous swings that children we're expected to play on. No disabled access leading to lawn or Marquee causing a number of elderly people to struggle.Unsafe to sit on the grassed area due to golfers within 10ft or less .The 5pm bbq was a 6pm table of burnt sausage/burgers and bites of chicken . Buns/rolls , potato salad/coleslaw and boiled potatoes. (All of this food was placed in the Sun ) Plates were chipped/dirty along with numerous pieces of cutlery. Bar staff were miserable and made you feel that everything was too much effort . Wire's running all along outside of Marquee with mats thrown over them and no warnings.I have to say I would never attend this venue again, or recommend it in any way. The bride and groom were noticeably upset and distressed with the whole situation as were guests. I really feel for them when what should have been the most memorable day of their lives, turned out to be an absolute shambles!

Well where do I start? I attended a friends wedding at this venue what turned out to be an absolute nightmare ! When arrived everything just seemed rushed. Everyone that was seated was seated in wrong seats when there was a seating plan the briadmaids walk down the aisle when they got to the bottom they had no where to go because the chairs had been pushed up against the bar so had to stand there and wait until the bride had come in to be seated . Everything was up in the air had no guidance from anyone the staff were so miserable. There was no crips available to buy at the bar or any sort of snacks .the marquee was on the golf course grounds where elderly struggled to walk down the little hill where it was also very uneven .the food wasn?t the best most of it was burnt. Left in the sun The sweets were put into plastic tubs and nothing for the children to put the sweets into causing them to use cups. Also the dance floor if you call it a dance floor ?ply wood stick together . Painted white? was coming apart thought the night guests had to push it back together which I no caused a couple of trips that day . Most guests left even before the bride & grooms first dance because of every The wedding coordinator was so unprofessional was crying to guests & bride causing more stress to the day . The whole experience was dreadful I wouldn?t recommend this place at all . Really feel for the bride & groom what was suppose to be an amazing day turned out to be the way it was.
