I contacted the surgery at 8am on the 1st Match after being number 17 in the queue I spoke to a receptionist requesting a doctors appointment or a call back at 10.50 a 01792 35 number and my phone rang twice no message left when I tried calling back was unable to the service is totally useless. I contacted the surgery again and was told a message on screen for a routine appointment on the 13 th march . I felt my concern re my health were genuine and simply the 13match was not good enough . This health centre really needs a good shake up or needs to inspected by the local authorities to implement new practythat help patients !!!!!!!!!

I've always called at 8am on the dot, and suspiciously, I'm always starting off at position 8 in the que, waiting around 30 minutes for it to be answered. I'm pretty certain I must have been first in the que at least one time and that this is an automated tactic to put patients off calling. Just another small change in the direction of privatisation of the NHS.

Moved from an area with almost 20x the population of pontardawe and the same amount of surgeries yet it was much easier to book an appointment there. If you need an appointment urgently, you?re unfortunately going to be waiting weeks to get an appointment as I have previously been told numerous times by the receptionists. Unhelpful service, vague and rude receptionists. Would not recommend this surgery to anyone with half a brain.

Very grateful to have an appointment today. The Physician Associate was very thorough and empathetic during my consultation. I work for the NHS myself and know personally that credit is due to all services within General Practice.

I have requested alternative medicines on 3 separate occasions for 3months,only to be ignored.Today the reception was brilliant.Half an hour later I received a call from pharmacy Department technician. She was extremely rude,condescending & wouldn't listen to me.According to her the medication is on the green list& can be ordered in the following day,tried to explain it can't because tablet form isn't being manufactured.Whilst on phone she asked colleagues ring ystalyfera.Travelled davies chemist in Ystalyfera only to be told they don't have tablet form only capsules& need new prescription (costs them £10 more for capsules) they had told pharmacy technicians this.Thankfully chemist rang Gp surgery & spoke to Sue who faxed the necessary new prescription.I'm making a complaint anyway, don't appreciate being spoken to like an idiot,or not listened to when I've explained been to 4different chemist's all saying the same thing!Training staff on how to speak to patients should come as standard.I'm complaint trained myself, maybe if a threat of losing pay was part of a procedure you would get spoken to like an adult.

The doctors have no interest in seeing patients face to face, in my case I have very bad eczema but instead of looking at it in the same room they keep asking for photos even though I have told multiple times that my camera phone is not the best they still insist. Also the lastest Dr Chiranjib Ghosh is rude, condescending and arrogant.

Offering an appalling service. Prescriptions not processed correctly, in time or if they are then they are sent to the wrong pharmacy. Reception staff rude. Doctors won?t authorise medication prescribed by another nhs service. Dangerous practice. What about the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm. Awful wait on the phone to speak to someone. Pharmacy technician extremely rude and talks to you like you?re an idiot.Over the last 10 years I have been a patient at several surgeries around the UK. I can categorically say this is the worst practice in operation. If I could avoid the practice I would.

Quite frankly, they don't even deserve 1 star!Dreadful service. Quite impossible to get an appointment & certainly don't care about their elderly patients. Receptionists excel at being unhelpful & rude.

Shocking experience!!!!! New ginger girl with tips is extremely rude and lazy ! No assistance whatsoever! She keeps repeating -not my problem and not my job is it?Absolutely disgusting attitude and customer service! This clinic was really bad anyway but now it's just shockingly bad ! Always loosing prescriptions and super unreliable!This place needs a new management and staff!Shame on you lot !!!!!!!!Avoid if possible good people!!!!!

I have been suffering with awful tonsillitis all weekend, but i have to wait till monday when they open to try get some antibiotics. I cant get anyone on the phone till 10am were i am rushed off with the promise of a call back from the doctor soon. 4 and a half hours later still no call, so i call back just to be met with the same ?your on the list youll get a call back soon?. At 5:45 (15mins before they close) i call again. apparently i got sent questions on ask my gp. i would like to make absolutely clear no one had mentioned ask my gp and i was told clearly i would get a call back. finally she askes me the questions on the phone which are clearly time wasters as all of the information had already been given over the phone. all this while making it very clear to them that i have an a level exam in the morning. and failing because of this would mean a year worth of work down the drain.

I literally have nothing good to say about this place. Refused to help me and give me an asthma rescue pack when my asthma was flaring up forcing me to go to hospital in the middle of a pandemic where guess what? They have me a rescue pack. Unhelpful, rude, incompetent, just a few words to describe this surgery. I hope anyone who uses this surgery doesn't need any actual help because you won't get it here.

Cannot register for online services as do not have a mobile phone. A video selfie to register? Can only make same day appointments? The system is broke.
