Went into the store yesterday picked up £100 of clothing .There was a que to pay didn't bother me ,then a lady came quickly to open a till the way I was served was discusting rushed our items through .I asked for a bag she put a small bag on top of our clothing .very rude lady .needs retraining with her customer service.

Ordered the crumpet with rarebit and chutney on top. Had our teas. I had to ask about the food 20 mins later. Another 20 mins and it arrived and we'd finished our tea. Said they were short staffed. The crumpet tasted like it was straight from the packet not cooked. Not crispy at all. The cheese went cold really quickly. I'm not convinced it was done properly. Should have complained to the manager. The worst M@S cafe I have been to for cooked food. People should complain its very poor service.

M&S Food Halls are always synonymous with quality, but I always considered them to be somewhat pricey. However at this particular Food Hall, I found the prices quite competitively set compared to discount supermarkets, so by shopping carefully I was able to get everything I wanted on a limited budget from an excellent range of well-displayed food. A pleasure to shop here and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Food in the cafe is good but the wait for it is interminable. More staff needed at lunchtimes.

Despite it being a wet and miserable Monday and the second week of the school holidays, the cafe was clean, tidy with plenty of choice. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The service was excellent and waiting time kept to a minimum. I would recommend the cheese scone and hot chocolate.

Appalling service! It took 45 minutes to get 2 toasted teacakes. 3 staff and few customers. And when they did arrive they were burnt.

Called in to the cafe for lunch, big mistake. We queued for 15 mins and we had barely moved so we walked out. Seemed chaotic behind the counter with staff getting in each others way. It wasn?t even busy. Had a similar experience in Merthyr Tydfil today, a 15 min wait to be told there was a further 15 min wait for a bowl of soup?..how hard is it to keep soup hot and ready to serve ? M&S cafes need a major rethink and reorganisation.

The Toliets were a mess no cleaners were in apparently the cleaners hate working in that place because how managers treat themTold management can they get staff to clean them they said no because it?s not there jobThis store is absolutely terrible since the new store manager turned up no wonder why many staff hates the place and wants to leave
