I am a doctor in NHS and I feel so frustrated calling this surgery, IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment, no waiting line concept on phone ! I have been trying for nearly a month to get an appointment by calling them and through their online service. Surgery opens at 8 and I start calling right away when you get the message that lines are busy and to try again then at 8.05 the message is that all appointments are full.What a poorly run service !!!Update:Since the last review, there have been many changes and improvements in the surgery and now getting appointments is much easier. The surgery has become more accessible and I think deserves praise for stepping up and improving.

This place is an absolute joke!! Total incompetent workers who you have to keep repeating yourself or they get it wrong!! No my GP app so impossible to get through on the phone most of the time, every week they are changing it for the worst, the receptionist is apparently qualified to decide if you need a call back from the doctors, asking the exact problems and then you have to wait a couple of weeks for a doctor to ring you back after this!!!!!No other surgery is this bad I'm doing everything to leave that shower of shyte now!!!

The telephone system has improved! . Can now access services, I feel that I am being given excellent care now. In the past year access to care was very poor, however I am happy with the surgery's improvements.

If I could give no stars I would, I have mental illness and been left without medication for over a week due to a lack of communication between orchard Street and this surgery, i was starting to get well and now a lot worse as going through withdrawal, it's inhumane particularly as I had a breakdown, my nephew commited suicide twoand a half years ago, he fell to his death age twenty three from multi storey carpark in Swansea due to neglect from mental health services, I'm so angry! COVID not an excuse anymore! Sort the mental health service out! People are human beings !

The medical practice now has a new system in place. Much easier to ring in as you are now put into a queue of callers. This let's you know what length of time you are likely to wait.

Since when does a non medical receptionist decide if you can or can't see a doctor. After being instructed by a 111 doctor to ring the surgery and state that I needed to see a doctor only to be over ruled by a receptionist . 24hrs later I was in A+E. Again a nurse gave me my flu jab when I asked if my blood pressure could be taken due to having a stroke . Sorry no time was her replied. 5mths later still waiting .

If I could give a 0, I would. The doctors are lovely when you're lucky enough to get an appointment, but the surgery in itself is in shambles. Been trying to get through for an appointment for 2.5 weeks! They make it an impossible task

Can anyone help me and tell me where you can find doctor's appointments website? Apparently there is on internet, choose a day and have a visit. Because phones, and even more so face to face does not exist :(

It is impossible to speak to someone or get an appointment!!!!! At 8am all gone. How is this possible?!?!? I am not bother you much, my last call was last summer when you treated me with no interest. My health gone worse so I am aspecting some help from my GP, that's why I pay taxes!!! Can't you see all the reviews on here?!? It is time for you to make a change for us! Thank you!

I think my experience is/was the same as everyone else?s. You just struggle over over and immensely to get a phone or face to face appointment but once you do the doctors I?ve spoken to have been great! Unfortunately the same can?t be said for some of the receptionist?s we?ll all of them bar one (who is really helpful and lovely) and they can be so rude to you, they should understand that while u may be the 50th person that day upset/moaning about appointments etc that they should treat you like you?re the first person they spoke to that day not be irritated and rude!! The receptionist?s could create a better surgery and I honestly believe it starts with them!!

Unfortunate that there is no 0Phoned every morning and every afternoon for three weeks without success .How does this shambles ever get through a inspection or audit ?? serious problems with the appointment system (if there is one ) .The management is a disgrace ,how can they sit back and let this chaos continue month on month ,year on year .Engage consult doesn't work and simply a smokescreen for a supposed alternative to the present system .

Disgusting - all morning apoinntments gone by 15 mins past the hour and the afternoon exactly the same.Engage service not working either - needs investigating this GP surgery.
