“First time staying in a ibis and wasn't to bad my room was very clean and pretty big, the staff were friendly and found the beer and food a decent price will be staying here ”

“We chose the Travelodge for a weekend stay as you generally know what you're going to get with a Travelodge. We travelled from Essex coming to Swansea for a business trip. The check in was easy, hotel is located within the service station and staff are helpful. The room and corridors were clean and tidy. Bathroom and towels clean and tidy. There was everything we needed for a short comfortable break. Bed a bit squeaky but fine. For the price we paid this was excellent value. Plenty in the services, parking easy and close to town and the beaches”

“Ideal location in the centre, 5 minutes walk from the arena. Although nightlife was buzzing due to being near the pubs & clubs, rooms were soundproof. Staff & rooms were excellent & who doesn't love a premier inn breakfast??”

“A wonderful hotel with lovely rooms, totally steeped in history. Lots of original features and great details.Great service and a really nice atmosphere. The room was very comfy and quiet with everything I needed. Delicious breakfast and a great bar. Close to the beach and town centre and arena.”

“can't recommend the Sunday lunch enough! 8 of us attended late afternoon to an already busy resturant. Staff were helpful from the moment we got there. The lunch was plentiful, so much so we failed to eat it all! Portions are huge and the selection of veg was outstanding. Being a big group it's always a worry about food being cold or portions being small, but this was not the case. We asked for more gravy twice and it was brought to the table straight away. Nothing was too much for staff. Definitely my top choice for Sunday lunch in future.”

“This was a by far larger room than in Central London, however to be fair, London doesn't have the same space allowance as Wales does.The staff were kind and helped us recieve cabs and irons. I do wish they had more on the menu for dietary restriction and allergies, but I guess when one does not receive as many customer with these issues, they don't really see a need to change, but my generation has a lot more health and eating issues, so they are bound to change in the next 5 years or so.Nearby activities: There was much to do around there, but we were foodies, so we went to restaurants.Walkability: Stores and food were close by. However, Swansea closes shop at about 5:30-6:00, so We didn't get to go to as many places as we wanted to see.”

“Yes it's a dated building and it shows from cracks in the ceiling to a non working light but I think not only does the cheap cost make up for that but so does the service and quite frankly the dated nature of the place adds to its personality. Reception were patient with me as it takes me time to process information and staff that came into the room while we were out were respectful and generous. Not only were all of my belongings in the same messy pile I left them in but they remade the bed for us and replaced the 2 biscoff I scoffed. Also the review that mentions the lift is correct it is a three person lift but only twice was that a problem out of what I would say was 10 times using the lift and if you don't have the patience there did seem to be stairs. Check in is generously early at 3pm and the check out window ends at 11am. Overall, a lovely stay and excellent service.”
