“Excellent cataracts surgery performed by Dr Kiss and his staff in Cardiff. The care and sympathy shown to this 80 year old lady was appreciated. I must add that the 3 appointments I had in Swansea put me at ease. The staff in Swansea were very reassuring and very professional and the two ladies in Reception were extremely thoughtful. A special mention is due to Paul the Optomotrist who examined my eyes and explained my treatment in detail to me and asking me if I had any questions at every point. Optical Express you should be proud to have the excellent Staff in Swansea on your payroll. Thankyou so much for looking after me and restoring my vision. Kind regards to all of you. Mo Williams”

“I have updated this review, previously I scored it low due to one rude receptionist and a manager who didn't get my issue at all, however I've had amazing care from the doctors and nurses, and that is the main thing. Also the other receptionists are great.”

“I am a doctor in NHS and I feel so frustrated calling this surgery, IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment, no waiting line concept on phone ! I have been trying for nearly a month to get an appointment by calling them and through their online service. Surgery opens at 8 and I start calling right away when you get the message that lines are busy and to try again then at 8.05 the message is that all appointments are full.What a poorly run service !!!Update:Since the last review, there have been many changes and improvements in the surgery and now getting appointments is much easier. The surgery has become more accessible and I think deserves praise for stepping up and improving.”

“A very good GP practice. Plenty of doctors available so providing you don't need to see anyone specific you won't have to wait too long to get an appointment. In my experience the doctors are sympathetic and have time to listen. Plenty of clinics available e.g. diabetic, anti-natal etc. They also offer acupuncture on the NHS (I've used it a couple of times for pain relief when nothing else worked). They have recently introduced the facility to order repeat prescriptions online via their website - a fantastic idea in my opinion because the prescription telephone line was always busy. The only negative I would give is that the telephone line is always busy when trying to book an appointment. If they offered a facility to book appointments online (as some practices already do) I would give them 5 stars.”
