Always head to Dobbies for the aquatics shop. Brilliant staff and a great selection of tropical fish and supplies.

A good variety of plants and shrubs throughout the year, and well stocked with related gardening paraphernalia. Lovely cafeteria with friendly and helpful staff in both the cafeteria and garden centre.

Very nice garden centre. Quite large with a good variety of plants and other things that garden centres stock these days. The cafe tills had broken down and there was a very long wait to get coffee etc, so we didn't bother. But a nice place to spend an hour or so.

Booked Afternoon Tea as a treat for the kids.All food presented was fresh, we opted for 1 x adult and 1 x child to share between 1 x adult and 2 kids.There was plenty of food with a nice selection if items. I added the 'upgrade' savoury plate which on the website was vol au vents and sausage rolls- however when presented with a plate of crackers, grapes and a wedge of brie I was a little confused.....tasted ok but still.Children's 'tea' came with juice was never offered so ended up paying for 2 drinks for them.Overall a nice enough experience but perhaps the service just needs looking into to ensure its done as well as can be

Good cafe, doesn't always have hot food available though. Staff are always pleasant. Good choice of plants etc but some are a bit expensive.
