I had an excellent experience at Denny?s! I ordered the Empire State Pancake Stack, and wow?it was so good and so filling I felt like I could pop! Beyond the food, the highlight of my visit was the outstanding service from Neil. He was friendly, attentive, and really went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Neil made the whole meal even more enjoyable, and it?s clear he takes pride in what he does. Thanks to him and the team?I?ll definitely be back!

Pretty terrible. Came with friends back in June having been to the US chain a few times. The restaurant was about half full.
The wait for food was SO LONG - 1 hour before the first dish came out. We had kids with us, so I asked given the wait time, if food could just come out when it was ready. No word of a lie, the waiter took this literally and the food came out in its component parts. First, I got my French toast, followed by the sausages and eggs 10 minutes later.
Any queries about the wait for food was met with shrugs. I suspected this was due to them also selling food on Deliveroo/Just Eat as there were a lot of people in bike helmets coming in and out.
The food itself was expensive and small. Nothing like the US version.
I made the manager aware of all of the experience. They offered a free meal next time. This is a nice gesture, but we live in Bristol so it is unlikely we will be in the area any time soon. I did ask for a partial refund on my meal, given I had to eat it in its component parts having waited an hour whilst trying to placate my 1 year old. I was told someone would call to help with this but I never got the call.

We came for a birthday dinner for my fiancé. We have been to the Swansea diner once before this for breakfast and have no issues whatsoever. So we decided to come here today for dinner. We ordered a burger and chips each with a side order of potatoes and onion rings with 2 refills of soft drinks. We ordered our food at 4:40 pm and didn't receive our food until 5:40 pm. By that time, we had finished our drinks, so we asked for a refill. We then had to flag down a waitress, 20 minutes later, asking for our drinks, as we had nearly finished our meal and had not yet had our drinks. We then wanted our dessert to take away, so we ordered pancake puppies, which we had ordered when we came last time. We loved them, so we ordered them again at 6 and got them for collection to take home. We were waiting for 30 minutes before we checked in and asked how long they would be. We kept being told 5 minutes, then an hour. My fiancé got up and waited by the kitchen to speak to someone. Then the manager packaged them up and gave them to us. We got into the car and started our hour journey home. I looked into the box and saw overcooked tiny pancake puppies with a bunch of sugar at the bottom of the container. These must have been cooled too much for the sugar to stick. Overall all don't come here for evening service as you will have a horrible time, I didn't think ordering 2 burgers with sides 2 drinks, and 1 portion of pancake puppies would have taken me 3 hours ?

From the moment we walked in, the entire experience was a masterclass in how not to run a restaurant. We rang the bell for service (since no maître d? was in sight), and were met with silence. The patient queue had grown in number and the line went out the door. After a second attempt and an extended wait, we gave up and wandered in ourselves to find the place sparsely occupied. A server eventually appeared, oozing indifference, and handed us a menu ? dirty and barely held together. Classy.
We ordered through the app, naively hoping this might save time. It didn?t. Twenty minutes just to be seated, followed by a further forty before anything resembling food appeared. Remember, they we not anywhere near at capacity. First came the pancakes ? stale, dry, and utterly joyless. Ten minutes later, the burgers turned up, accompanied by a three-quarters-full soda that looked like it had been topped up with disappointment. The cheeseburger? A tragedy in a bun. The only redeeming feature was the freshness of the lettuce, which at least reassured us that someone in the building had seen a vegetable in the last week. The fries/ chips were decent.
The whole ordeal was a pointless waste of money, time, and calories. Denny?s Swansea is the dining equivalent of an endurance test: you go in full of hope and leave with nothing but regret. Do yourself a favour and steer clear ? you?ll thank me later.

Service here is really good, we were seated quickly when we arrived. The food came out quickly and was ok, I?ve had better burgers but I?ve definitely had worse, little one enjoyed the pancakes!

It's very good if you miss the American experience. Food was exactly what you'd expect and the service received was very good, just a little slow, but you'd expect that seeing as there seems to be some preparation involved.

The food is good. Just like home. Too bad it took 37 minutes to get a simple breakfast. The tables around me were not cleaned either. Plates and food everywhere.

Outstanding restaurant, burgers love it , sides just as good, the drinks were next level, but one thing is I think you guys should maybe add some drawing paper you know something the kids can enjoy on while they wait for their food one bad thing is the bathroom one day my grandchild went to use the bathroom it took about 10 minutes because the person in the bathroom stall took long what I'm saying is maybe add a few more bathrooms and the lock on it didn't work it my grandchild struggled just to open the lock luckily he escaped but overall a great restaurant for families of any size

Wanted to relive a childhood memory from visiting Denny's in Florida, US so when I found out Swansea had a Denny's I was very excited. Layout is fun, love the booths. Server was helpful with seating us but after that we didn't see them apart from when they brought the food. It's a bit annoying having to download an app to order food. Would be a more classic diner experience ordering with a waiter/waitress. Portions were huge and food was nice but overpriced for what it is! Sausages were tiny, beans were added on for 99p and the portion was a table spoon. I did enjoy it but wouldn't go back

The waitress / server was lovely.
Service was good.
The place is nice and clean.
Booths offer privacy for families to eat in peace.
My breakfast was a little disappointing.
Eggs were nice but not hot.
Sausages were chipolatas, and small.
The hash browns are shredded, which is the American way... meh.
Coffee was good.
Cousin's pancakes were dry and for the price, 2x pancakes and 2x rashers of bacon? I am sure the Yanks get bigger portions foe their money.
Not sure if I will go back, as I am not a pancake / waffle guy.

Amazing food, served hot and smells delicious. Service provided with a smile, atmosphere is phenomenal. Music and a busy restaurant always makes for a great meal. 10/10, I recommend if you?re in the mood for breakfast/pancakes
