Well, I am absolutely disgusted at boots the quadrant Swansea:. I called in on the 11th of June 2025 to buy a variety of toiletries but most importantly a present for my niece for her birthday which was on that day. It was a bath moose. As soon as I got home, I was about to pack the present when I opened the lid to the moose (thank goodness I did!) Only to find that it had not only been open but used and the top of the neck of the can was completely in a mess and the moose had run out of the nozzle. Obviously somebody had used it when it was on the shelf. At this point, it was 5 pm and the store closed at 6 pm. I live 5 miles away from the shop so had to make a race to the shop before it closed as I needed the present for that evening. Bear in mind that the journey took me 30 minutes (in traffic) to get to the store and 30 minutes back. So my time and my petrol has been used unnecessarily! I am furious!!!The Assistant was very kind and apologetic and changed the item which was the least I could have expected to be honest. I would suggest that when anyone purchases an item that is possible to be opened by the public, then they would be wise to open it and check for damage. It?s not difficult and would save the customers from buying damaged products and having to return them. Maybe you could put a memo out there to the stores to do this. I am still disgusted and furious and obviously will be telling as many people as possible.!!!

Wish I could put 0 stars. Beverly from this store declined my mother?s double discount as it ?wasn?t on the till to scan? when my mum asked about it as it was the last day she told her it was expired. This is the last double discount day so can still be used. Clearly this employee was either too lazy to look for the piece of paper to scan or she needs extensive training on the offers. My mother was embarrassed by this and it?s such a negative experience on her behalf.

Subject: A Deeply Unpleasant Experience at Boots Swansea ? Complaint About Staff Conduct
Dear Boots Head Office,
I am writing to express my absolute disgust at the disgraceful and unprofessional behaviour I encountered yesterday at your Swansea store, which has left me questioning how a national pharmacy chain can allow such individuals to represent them on the front line.
Suffering from a heavy cold, I entered the store seeking to purchase Night Nurse ? a perfectly reasonable and common course of action. Instead, I was subjected to what I can only describe as a petty power trip from an older female staff member who clearly had no interest in helping me. Her behaviour was officious, obstructive, and thoroughly unprofessional. She appeared more interested in flexing her limited authority than in providing any semblance of care or service.
After a series of inane and rigid questions, she smugly concluded that she would not sell me the Night Nurse, claiming I had a ?tickly cough? and not a ?chesty cough? ? a rationale so absurd it would be laughable were it not so insulting. It was immediately clear this was less about clinical judgment and more about control ? an employee clinging to a clipboard and a sense of inflated importance while forgetting she is dealing with unwell, paying customers.
Her attitude was contemptuous and her tone dismissive, completely devoid of basic decency, let alone professionalism. She made what should have been a quick, routine purchase an unnecessarily humiliating and frustrating ordeal. Her lack of empathy and poor customer service skills were astonishing.
Thankfully, a manager intervened and, without hesitation, overruled her and authorised the sale. That alone speaks volumes. If even a store manager can see the absurdity of her stance instantly, one has to ask why she is still employed in a customer-facing role at all.
Let me be clear: this woman should not be allowed within ten feet of a pharmacy counter, let alone be entrusted with making judgment calls about customers? health. Her behaviour was arrogant, petty, and wholly incompatible with the Boots brand ? a brand I, like many, once associated with care and professionalism.
I expect this complaint to be taken seriously, and I would appreciate confirmation that this individual?s conduct will be investigated. If Boots has any interest in retaining public trust, it must ensure that staff like this are either retrained or removed.

Perdie and Abbie were brilliant and safely jabbed me up with what I needed to ensure I was safe for my upcoming travels. They made the experience effortless and painless over the course of two months. They booked me in every time with ease and kept a very diligent record of what vaccines I had and what I had remaining. I looked forward to each appointment and knew I was in safe hands. They even provide lovely animal plasters, give great advice on where to travel and what to do, and ease your mind on the cost of the vaccines by explaining how useful they are. I couldn?t thank these two enough (especially Perdie who did most of my jabs) for their hard work, dedication, and knowledge on travel vaccines. They made my travelling plans possible. I will be recommending them strongly and passionately to anyone who wants to get travelling vaccines.
The only improvement I would suggest is having more travel magnets on their mini fridge, although this is not their fault. I will try my best to send over magnets to fill their sad looking fridge up. Once again, thank you Perdie and Abbie for ensuring that there is a less likelihood I?ll be killed by Japanese Encephalitis.

The staff at the Boots checkout are very friendly, and I?m grateful for their service.
However, at the No.7 counter, where I have to spend a lot of money each time, I always prepare product images and descriptions in advance.
Then, in front of two chatting staff members, I struggle to find what I need.
Once, an older staff member greeted a customer very enthusiastically, and I realized she could actually speak.
Moreover, when I was lucky enough to find all the No.7 products I needed and was about to leave, the older staff member with her hair elegantly styled pinpointed me. For the first time, she politely asked me to check out with her. However, after I completed my purchase and asked whether the discount and gift vouchers could be combined, she responded with the same expressionless face and repeated the same sentence three
times.
last week, when I couldn?t find a product and wanted to ask where it was, the older blonde 45 year-old staff were chatting and pretending not to see me as they took selfies. I eventually found the product myself, and as I was leaving, I heard the older lady?s very loud laughter.
While overdone make-up of appearance is important, a professional attitude is even more admirable.
I don?t think the employees at the checkout counter, dressed simply, are any less impressive than her.
This lady clearly has an inexplicable prejudice, particularly towards Asians, and I won?t be going back.

Had a lovely experience in store today, I came in to buy my regular Dior perfume and got a bunch of free samples to take home with it! Sorry I didn?t catch her name but she helped me sign up to the loyalty scheme as well :)

Someone in the shop forgot to scan my parcel upon arrival to store so did not get a message to pick it up. It was there for over a week and they almost shipped it back if I hadn't gone myself to shop to ask what happened.

I was helped by a lovely lady today! She not only helped me in the cosmetics department, she also gave me advice on places to see. Being from Southampton her advice was greatly appreciated. Thank you!
