We had a lovely stay and recommend this inn for the location, views and lovely staff. The only drawbacks were the flush and the breakfast situation. The flush mechanism was very loud in the bathroom as there seems to be two flushes, one of which went off constantly while showering. The only issue about breakfast was that we were told it would be at 9am but turned up and there was nobody there. Other than that it was lovely, the dinner was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Ate here with family on holiday. A lot of our parties food was overcooked to the point of unpleasant. Mine was bland. Staff didn?t make us feel welcome

We had booked in here and arrived half an hour before the time and so we waited outside to make sure we didn't get in too early. We then went to head inside and it was locked! So we waited a while and there was still no sign of people other than the 6 possible customers who didn't want to wait and left. So we phoned the number we had previously called and got sent to a mobile saying that his wife was on a break. We waited a little longer and then when she arrived, she looked almost offended, bearing in mind we booked 2 hours prior so it wasn't last minute. She then started to take us to a table but the table wasnt big enough so she seemed really inconvenienced by us asking for tables to be pushed together. We then looked at the menu to find it the exact same as before but with much higher prices. Fortunately our booker had a personal emergency and so we left then and there as there was a horrible atmosphere and service.

Did not stay overnight, but popped in for a meal. Food was delicious and there are plenty of gluten free options. Lovely location with a beer garden for those summer evenings.

The TV remote worked superbly which is important as it?s a basic necessity of life, the bar staff were not rude at all and put the peppercorn sauce down very gently thank god

Admittedly we only spent morning and evenings in the accommodation, More than suitable for what we needed,Breakfast was good, The only thing I think they should do is make it bed AND BREAKFAST, Also the WI FI should be available in the accommodation across the road, Very friendly staff, good service, would definitely visit there again.

No twin room as booked. Nobody at desk to check in. Seemed issues with organisation. Cancelled trip as soon as I got there. Should improve.

We have now been to The Abercrave 8 or 9 times now. We have always had a great meal at very reasonable prices. They have always squeezed us in at short notice.
The waiting staff are superb and always courteous.
Highly recommended.

Lovely location.
Over priced accommodation. Room with a view and comfortable bed, but unfortunately dated furniture and carpet.
Poor shower in basic en suite. Offered a change of room for second night but experience similar with ensuite only marginally better.
Accomodation would also benefit from improved security lighting and access.
Has potential if the owners want to invest and continue to offer accommodation.
Most important get the basic rights and provide value for money.
