Lovely Sunday dinners. One of the nicest we've had. My mum had the lamb and she said it was delicious. Not overpriced either like alot of places on sundays. They get very busy there so sometimes you need to be patient but the food is worth the wait. The girls there are all very pleasant too.
Also lovely place to sit outside on the rocks by the sea on a lovely sunny day watching the tide

Is there any reason we went to this place last night (24 July) and it was closed at 9pm? It's holiday season and a caravan park bar was closed at that time, couldn't believe it. Any explanation?

Lovely location on the Bristol Channel right at Sully Island. They open at 9 for breakfast.
Very nice breakfast that is fully customizable. You can pick the number of items you want.

Went to a private retirement party for around 35 people. It was a good venue, and drinks were very reasonably priced. They seem to be happy hour between 4 and 7 pm. The buffet food was excellent, and there were plenty of choices and a quantity as well. You can book this place with confidence and get good value for money.

Word of warning. Don't go to the farthest car park which is exclusively for the The Captains Wife pub which camera monitored and car registration must be logged inside to avoid penalties. Terrible experience this morning, normally a lovely place to eat however we were served cold food, and a breakfast which was wrong after waiting 1hour. When we told the staff member, they took the food back and simply scraped the item off the plate and gave it back.. not only this, we had to ask for the drinks to be served also.
When paying for the bill, the owner of the restaurant abruptly said ?something wrong with the food was there?? which we explained the issues we had and then the whole team got involved saying ?have you ever worked in a restaurant before?? & ?Do you know how busy we are? which I felt was patronising and not needed.
Very disappointing and unprofessional. I understand that it may be busy with longer waiting times however this should not affect the service.

We attended this morning for breakfast, and usually have a lovely experience with staff and food, but unfortunately it was not the case this time. After our order was taken, half of our drinks arrived and we had to chased the others. After the table behind queried where their food was, we were then told after 45 minutes of waiting that they are very busy and food may take a while. Food arrived, some of it was cold and a mistake was made with one of the orders, this was taken back to the kitchen and just scrapped off the plate.
When staff came over to ask how our food was we advised of the above and had a quick sorry as she left. When leaving to pay, we were confronted by a staff member who we presume is the manager saying ?something wrong with the food was there?, we explained of the issues and other staff got involved saying ?have you ever worked in a restaurant before? ?did you see how busy we were?. The whole situation was unprofessional and not needed. We understand if it is busy day, wait times may be longer, but this should not lead to poor service from staff. This was a disappointing start to the morning in a place that is usually very welcoming.

Had an awful experience this morning with what is usually a lovely restaurant. Had an issue with our order which after we had eaten were confronted by the staff in a very aggressive manner. Seriously unprofessional and disappointing

We had breakfast this morning and my order was slightly wrong. They took it back and scrapped off what I didn?t want and brought the same plate back which wasn?t a great start when we began eating we realised all of the toast was cold. When asked how our food was we explained and had a quick sorry as the girl rushed off. When going to pay we were confronted by who I assume was the manager who said ? something wrong with your food was there? we then said again what was wrong and were told do you realise how busy we are today. The rest of the staff then jumped in adding there opinions on the matter which made us all feel we had to reiterate our point that the fact it was busy should not lead to poor service being acceptable. The manger walked off and the girls all carried on making comments at us. I have always been to this restaurant and had a good time but it seems something has changed, it was the most unprofessional display I have encountered.

Worst Sunday lunch I?ve ever had. What?s the point of making a crispy Yorkshire pudding then drowning it in dark , thick gravy granules ?. Veg over cooked. 2 minuscule roast potatoes and the dessert was worse. Custard made with water that had a weird taste and far, far too much sugar added plus a gritty sponge putting and apple crumble. The waitress was lovely and very good.
