We visited here on very wet day during the half term. Very informative displays on all kinds of insects and a few insects on display. There was a cafe serving food but we just grabbed a quick coffee. We all thoroughly enjoyed out visit. We only stayed about an hour and a half but If the weather was more favourable, we would have spent more time outside. Staff were really friendly and chatty too.

We visited Dr Beynon?s during our stay in Pembrokeshire last August. What a lovely place! There?s a real love for environmentally friendly and ecological practices, the gardens were beautiful and full of diverse wildlife!I would definitely recommend the bug handling experience, the handler was so knowledgeable and friendly and our big obsessed 6 year old was completely blown away! The staff at Dr Beynon?s are so lovely and clearly very passionate about what they do. We spent a long time learning about golden orb weavers and even got to see them have their dinner! The whole farm has a really calming, back to nature vibe. Also very dog friendly!

We just left the bug farm and are all in agreement it's one of our best day trips out. You can tell how passionate everyone is about bugs, lots of enthusiasm and information shared by all the staff. The whole farm is wonderfully thought out and is a pleasure to explore. I rarely leave reviews but this one deserves it. Doing great things and sharing great vibes Dr Benyon Bug Farm!!

Very interesting place to visit, the best part is an Up-Close experience, highly recommended! Museum and Zoo are great too. The food in the restaurant was a bit too spicy, so it was difficult to taste any difference between meat and no-meat.

We visited Dr Beynon?s Bug Farm and loved it! The Museum gives lots of interesting information and the Tropical Bug Zoo room was amazing - I could have watched the leaf cutter ants all day. We were given a very warm welcome and the interactive bug experience was fantastic - my partner is blind and being able to handle various bugs was great, the 2 young ladies who led the session were fantastic. Food at the Grub Kitchen was excellent - we had a bug burger and vegan burger - delicious. It was really interesting walking outside, seeing and smelling various farm crops, hearing the bumble bees, and seeing various farm animals enjoying their home.

A wonderful day out, really educational and packed with information about bugs. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the different critters and took the plunge and booked the experience where my Son and I got to hold some of the bugs. The Grub kitchen was another adventure, I had the bug burger, chips and salad which was delicious. For those who aren't brave enough to eat the bugs you can always buy a bag of bugs to snack on, in your own time. Definitely worth visiting.

My partner and I happily spent a couple of hours visiting the bug farm and eating at their grub café. The food was incredible, with or without the insects. I was pleasantly surprised at how genuinely tasty the roasted crickets were, and we picked up a couple of snack bags from the shop to take home! The owner and other staff were very friendly and clearly passionate about what they do, and it was great to speak to them about the different insects in the tropical bug zoo, and the whole edible insects topic. Definitely worth a visit.

Brilliant service, food, facilities and activities. Educational outreach was spot-on, as was the bug handling team. A very happy four hours spent with our super curious little 9 year old and great fun for childish adults knocking each other off the balance beam!

When we visited it was a very rainy day and we were not able to enjoy any of the outside activities unfortunately such as the walks and trails but they did look nice. The majority of our visit was focused around the indoor attractions which consisted of a British bug zoo and museum, a tropical bug zoo, the grub kitchen and the art gallery/meet the bugs room. The grub kitchen was an experience where a selection of food items could be purchased containing edible insects however we were not brave enough to try them so chose more traditional items from the menu.I would recommend the meet the bug experience for a small extra charge of £2. Two very knowledgeable and friendly handlers spoke about several creatures, allowing everyone who wanted the opportunity to hold them to do so.The entry price overall seemed quite expensive for what we were able to do however I'm sure it would've seemed much better value if we'd been able to enjoy the outdoors. Would recommend to anyone with kids who enjoy minibeasts!

I absolutely enjoyed my visit to the Bug Farm. It's was extremely interesting, well looked after and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Me and my partner also paid for the hands on experience. Dean who took the talk was fantastic, so passionate, knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn't recommend this place more. 100% worth the visit.

A really great place to visit. Clearly run by someone who is passionate about what they do and have created somewhere where kids can have a lot of fun and learn (adults too, I had no idea how big a leaf cutter queen ant could get!). We also had some lovely cake and coffee in their cafe, along with some bug pakoras which were genuinely tasty. It was Spring time when we visited and I imagine the meadow walks there in Summer will be beautiful.
