So, we moved into the area and was looking for a local Chinese for takeaway which we came across The Golden Fry ?which my wife had omelette with chips and peas and I went for a special with mushrooms and some seaweed on the side. Well it's our new favourite Chinese and will definitely be coming back to try the new Vermicelli noodles menu, plus much more to try later.

Definitely reviewed this as 1* before but Google has referred me to my original 4* review. The prawn dish we ordered stank. Used to be better but was awful last time we ordered.

Ordered a delivery unfortunately one meal was incorrect. However after a phone call the correct meal was delivered within 5 minutes ?? and it was beautiful.Thank you

Ordered while staying as a guest at the Village Hotel, found this online and placed our order, everything arrived as expected, the whole family enjoyed the meal, the only disappointment was the portion size of the Salt and Pepper chips, comparing it to our local where it is £3 for a larger portion, I think this was £5 for a tray which was half the size... but its a small complaint, the food was delicious. If we are ever back in this part of the country in the future, we most definitely would have this takeaway again.
Only got the photo of my food and it was lovely with the curry sauce (not in photo).

Best chinese around! Omg the flavours! Especially in the new noodle boxes!
Satay sauce is AMAZING! Salt and pepper chips are the best i've ever tasted but i always ask no veg. And the cantonese ribs....oh my days! ..... i don't normally eat ribs but these are a must!

The worst Chinese food I have ever had!! The chicken fried rice came is this horrible gravy like goo, the chicken chowmain had the same stuff on it! And the salt and pepper chips well what there was of them were just a box of diced onions with about 10 chips. The only thing that was nice was the curry sauce that we got for the chicken fried rice but we couldn't use it as the rice was covered in goo!!! Shocking food all just like slop!

The food was delicious and cooked well, the staff were very kind and professional when I called to ask how the rice was prepared and it was delivered slightly earlier with a really polite driver ? Will definitely order here again ?
