These jokers charge 90p extra for non-dairy milk in their burnt tasting coffee attempt. £5.40 for an oat flat-white that was so bad I couldn?t finish it.
Avoid this place like the plague. Go somewhere that isn?t blatantly ripping off tourists and locals.

Ordered 2 Coffees one latte and one cappuccino, and 2 cakes, only one option for gluten free which was a flapjack i did ask if that was the only gluten free cake they had and the waitress said yes. I had the flapjack and ordered another cake for my partner, we sat down coffees and cakes arrived both coffees came with a biscuit which i couldn't have, went to drink the coffee and it was that hot the cup burnt our mouths. It tasted burnt and was not what we expected. I think someone needs to learn how to make coffee properly because a cappuccino and latte are not supposed to be the same. I watched the man make the coffee and he left the milk under the frother whilst it heated up and walked away from it. No wonder the coffee was scalding hot, please if your going to call yourself a coffee shop then learn how to make coffee correctly

Really enjoyed the meal and coffee. Only downside is the proximity of the toilet to the tables. I got up 5 times to close the toilet door. The smell put me off my food. Please put a spring on the door as nobody was closing it after themselves and some type of handle too.

We ordered two flat whites and they were vending machine quality. Bitter, burnt beans and incorrectly steamed milk.

No longer the shoreline. Food quality was poor. Will be finding a new alternative. I did enjoy the shoreline for a light lunch.

Popped into cafe at 9.54am, hoping to find someone to ask what time they opened. However, we were greeted by a few people sitting in the corner, eating. I wasn?t impressed as the cafe mentioned on Google that it opened at 10am. We were asked to leave and return in 10 minutes which would have been after 10am. We didn?t return as found somewhere else.

Lovely setting, shame about the coffee. 80p surcharge for oat milk is very steep, and coffee really isn?t great as unfortunately staff clearly haven?t been barista trained. Probably avoid if you?re looking for a nice coffee.

What a cracking cafe which overlooks the beach. My wife and I sat on the balcony which affords a view of the beach. The staff were attentive and very friendly with lovely humour.
We had a tuna sandwich and pulled pork bap and both were delicious and excellent value. There was also
a great selection of cakes.
If you want a light bite on a smashing atmosphere the Shoreline will do you proud!

"Excuse me, my kids have peanut allergies, can you tell me if the cakes are ok for them to eat please?"
"dunno mate, couldn't tell you"
Not good enough, if you're going to sell food to the public you need to know its allergens - that's the law. "Dunno mate" and no attempt to check is not acceptable

Walked in and 3 young girls and one young male all had their backs to us or on their phones and totally ignored us when my partner asked how to order , I asked and was given a menu and told to come back when ready to order. I ordered 2 x cheese & Onion toasties, 2 x cookies and 2 rounds of jam on toast & 5 drinks, we could not pay by card only cash. When the young male brought the cheese and onion toastie he said cheese and chutney I said we ordered cheese and onion and he said that's what we call it here! He then bought 2 x jam on toast so I said I ordered 2 cheese and onion toasties and asked for 2 rounds of jam on toast, he said I will have to go back and check, then came out and said it is upto you if you want the extra jam on toast if not you will have to pay an additional £4 something for another toastie with attitude so I just told him to leave it! So much for the customer is always right and the cookies were stale so no I would not recommend this place as the staff need serious training on manners or have a responsible adult in charge!

Terrible coffee and I see if not the first to comment on this. Get your staff some training on how to make coffee, and I can assure you scooping wrongly frothed milk with a desert spoon will not be part of the training.

Popped into Shoreline for some coffee & brunch, nothing to eat for a VEGAN, plus had to pay a milk surcharge of 80p for soya milk... No other cafés have charged a surcharge.
