Have always raved about this fish shop, however on returning this year I was hugely disappointed. The restaurant smells of old grease, and unfortunately this transpired to be true when the cod arrived. The batter was rancid and burnt.
We won't be repeating the experience.

Just ok, chips dry, tartre sauce tasteless, fish mediocre. Nice place to sit and eat, perhaps the owners should rethink and aim to be the best rather than sit in middle. Overpriced.

So stopped in here whilst away, place our order for eat in to be given a number for the table and told they would call our order when ready, kids went to get the food 1 order short, had to pay again for the extra food as he never place it on the original order, and then wait another 20 minutes for the food to come out nuggets and sausages were OK but the chips were awefull, no apology for their mistake, and pretty pricey for a chip shop

Had chips twice (thought I would give them a second try) both times they wasn't the best. Nice curry sauce though (hence 2 stars).
Place was empty and customer service was poor, staff didn't seem bothered ?

This is a fantastic fish and chip restaurant with fast service, fresh fish, large portions and reasonable prices. A must place to eat after a day spent on the beach.

Had to wait ages even only a small queue, chips reasonable, fish soggy and instead of receiving curry sauce as I ordered I got gravy. The queue was then too long to grad the attention of staff to exchange it so I left most of the food! Head to New Quay Mid Wales if you want decent fish and chips.

Terrible customer service. We turned up at 8.15 pm and one of the servers with a disgusted tone announced we are closed and literally slammed the door in our face. Just incredibly rude, glad I spent my money some where else...

We had a takeaway today 27th July. Two portions of chips, 2 curry sauces and 6 chicken nuggets. £18.50.
Absolutely ridiculous price wise. The portion of chips just about covered the bottom of box they came in, and lukewarm.
The nuggets were hard to chew, lukewarm and the taste wasn't great either. Ended up in the bin.

Nice food, fish was gorgeous, and portions were decent. I forgot to pick up my Tartar sauce I paid for and was gutted, but that was my fault. I think the price is very high and I'd like to see a mini fish and chips rather than the cod bites they have.

The place is clean and well organised but both the fish and the chips were too soggy and greasy for the high price charged.

Had cod and chips twice and kids sausage and chips nearly £50 bit of a shock. Everywhere else fully booked i can see why this fish and chip shop isn't booked, price, fish over cooked with the batter like shrapnel and chip just as bad.
