The most amazing Sunday lunch today at The Amroth Arms. The portion sizes are huge, the food was piping hot and there was a vast selection of vegetables and extras - excellent!

Had drinks there yesterday (Saturday) so decided to try a Sunday lunch today. It did not disappoint. Large portion, piping hot, dark gravy, huge Yorkshire pudding. We had Lamb and Pork, both excellent. Great views too. As for Stars...it's ALL from Paul. 5/5

We had a superb Christmas meal last night with Steve and Lynette the food was so good the terrine was superb as was the turkey and beef dinner. I had sticky toffee pudding which was delicious so was the cheesecake, Christmas cake roulade and brandy snap. If you haven?t been then you need to book it was amazing and good value.

We went to the Pub because the website says it is Dog Friendly. IT IS NOT!! On arriving in the pub there is a notice that says Dog friendly after 4:00pm. The pub closes at 5:00. Why not say this on the website. It seems it is only dog tolerant at certain times. Very disappointing. Staff were also very dismissive of us asking!! Not a good place for dog owners

Very warm welcoming pub. Beautiful fire as you walk in the door which makes for perfect ambience.i then ordered myself a drink and the bar staff were very accommodating so i decided to have a meal as i was there. The menu itself is a very good menu and has been well thought out. Seems to cater for all age groups I had a prawn cocktail starter which I was impressed with because the size of what I got was more than adequate . Then for my main I decided to try something different the breaded chicken schnitzel. The meal was very delicious and something I would happily order again. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a relaxing meal which you can eat in your own time and not feel rushed to eat and go as other pubs do on occasions. I feel that the chef deserves a shout out aswell because the food is all hot and on this time it was busy night and everything was perfect. I WILL BE RETURNING

Not dog friendly if you want food after 5:30pm. Very disappointing for responsible dog owners who are on holiday with your four legged companion. Apologise, but if it?s not good enough for my dog, it?s not good enough for me. I will not be returning.

As always a fabulous lunch the seafarers basket was superb and loved the dips with it my husbands spag Bol was also superb both meals were huge portions so unfortunately we couldn?t do a dessert, all staff were very efficient and friendly and this is why it?s our favourite place to eat when we have a day off thank you ?

We went to the Amroth Arms yesterday (23rd) for lunch and I have to say we were all very impressed with the food and service. We all had the fish and chips and it was faultless and the portions were so generous. Staff were very friendly, a lovely place to sit and relax, highly recommended ?

At 76 the first rule of hiking is to find somewhere flat as a pancake and the Pembrokeshire coastal path offers plenty of opportunities. But the walk from Saundersfoot to Amroth turned out to be a hilly challenge. So I arrived in desperate need of a pint and a good pub lunch. There?s plenty of choice in Amroth but we settled in the Amroth Arms - and it proved to be one of the very best choices of our holiday. A thirst quenching pint of the local Tenby brew really was nectar of the gods and the meal that followed was pure ambrosia. We both chose the Seafarer?s Basket consisting of deep fried cod chunks, salt & pepper squid, calamari , butterflied prawns and wholetail scampi with salad, chips and sauces. Every morsel was delicious and the calamari was the best either of us could ever remember eating. Our only complaint was that we?d eaten so much that we couldn?t face any of the delicious sounding puds. Sincere thanks to all the friendly and welcoming staff - and the chef. Couldn?t face that hilly walk back so we scrambled our way across the rocks on the beach. A perfect Pembrokeshire day.

Called at the Amroth arms for a couple of beverages on a hot Sunday around 16:30 and we were turned away because they close early they apparently make enough money on Sunday lunchtime and close early, very poor customer service and rude staff, wouldn?t recommend.

Staff are lovely! Friendly and helpful. Place is spotlessly clean. Great views. Good beer. BUT THE FOOD IS AWFUL! It's nearly all fish based. 16 quid for the squid based meal. Sparse portions. Really sparse (left feeling hungry) and it was awful. Someone needs to teach the chef how to cook squid, what little there was of it. Tiny portions. Horrifically overpriced and cooked badly. The portions in all the meals was ridiculously small when compared to the New Inn a few yards along the road. Minimal choice and terrible food. But the staff were wonderful and nice. We ate at 4 pubs in Amroth and this was by far the worse. And it's a shame because everything else was fabulous. Would not recommend for food and would never eat here again despite loving the pub.
