Just popped in for a drink with family.
Atmosphere was a typical village pub vibe, telly was on showing the horse racing with one customer getting a bit excitable but a lovely open fire made it feel more homely than it would have otherwise.

Fantastic meals had by all four in our party. Excellent quality , beautifully presented and generous portions. The beer and wine were really good and all Very good value too. Staff were great . Our friends said this first visit to the shoes will not be their last. Highly recommended

Unexpected Gem! Our Local Pub Delivers the Best Roast Dinner
My husband and I were in a bit of a panic, searching for a place to enjoy a Sunday roast. All the fancy, well-known pubs were fully booked, and we were running out of time. As a last resort, we decided to try our local pub ? and I'm kicking myself for not going there sooner!
This turned out to be the best roast dinner I've ever had. The portion was massive, with a generous amount of meat. The taste was simply incredible; every element on the plate was cooked to perfection. It's a mystery why we hadn't tried it before, but we'll definitely be back!
