Food acceptable, but service very poor. Sausage bap arrived after 15 minutes but the two coffees and scone arrived 20 minutes after that! They didn’t know which coffee was decaf and as my wife is allergic to caffeine they had to fetch another. Which never arrived. We paid £8.50 for a pot tea for two and one slice of Bara Brith. The Costa cups used in the cafe are so thick heavy my elderly relative could hardly lift her cup of tea. We were at the cafe about an hour before it closed but the staff were mopping the floor in close proximity as we were having our tea. All I could smell... read full comment
