If I could leave 1 star I would. Staff Saturday afternoon were rude. No customer service skills what so ever! A middle aged man told me to move out of his way so he could deal with the people who he was already dealing with. I wasnt even in his way!! I was patiently waiting at the counter to be served. There was absolutely no need for him to speak the way he did !! He obviously felt he needed to look important. Luckily don't need to visit this branch. Today I was just passing through but won't enter there again..

I have been with the halifax since I was 14, I'm desperately trying to get Certified Copy of my passport which I had with me. I come to their website. The Halifax says they do it, providing documents are not expired.
And yet, when I went into this brunch, they tell me that they can't do it. Even though it's on the website that they can do it. I think it's time I found a more friendlier bank.

I spoke to a rather rude member of staff today regarding taking bags of coins into the bank, I had been in a few days ago and Spoke to the loveliest cashier who told me it would be fine but if it was more than 10 bags I'd have to prearrange it which was fine, I went today to do just that to then be told no! That's not allowed and I can only take in coins of the same denomination. Which to me seems ridiculous as they are all bagged up in the correct money bags and the correct amounts per bag. When I told the very unpleasant staff member that I'd been told I could deposit them providing it was pre booked her response was, 'well I can't just bend the rules'
Firstly no one asked her to bend anything at all and secondly, if she's been there 20 years as she claims then surley she should have customer service skills by now. She then proceeded to question me on who exactly i spoke with and when I described the very nice memeber of staff who was actually helpful she shook her head and said no idea. She then suggested I deposit it into my business account with a different bank and take it out as cash to which I told her that wasn't possible due to it needing to be in my Halifax account AND being a business account and taking cash out would cause issues with our accountant. For someone who claims to have worked in the banking industry for 20 years she didnt seem to understand that. I was then told to try the post office instead! To say it seemed she just didnt want to do her job is an understatment. I was under the impression that depositing funds into a bank account was what cashiers are there to help with as part of their job roles.
Its a shame that one unpleasent member of staff can leave such a sour taste.

To be fair to the staff they were very helpful. But Halifax themselves are just getting worse and worse, as are most personal banks in the UK

Got myself into an unfortunate situation whilst doing on line banking but, thanks to Sinead and her patience and, giving me the necessary advice and, support. The fraud dept are now helping me with the necessary enquiries.I would also like to thank the two members of staff who stayed late whilst I was still using the phone.??????????

Half of the time is not open & you can't pay money in to the cash machine outside. The message on the door always says closed due to unforseen circumstances !

Had the manager call me regarding a complaint that I had I gave the information that she needed then she started repeating, the original complaint surfaced I was not backing down as I was 100% in the right , leaving bank today going to Hsbc
