Went here before went to the vets in the area, got my dog a kneck collar to stop her chewing her tail and some antiseptic spray which was really good and effective until the vet appointment. Staff friendly. Plenty of stock n all sizes too. As a vets for pets inside too but didn't no until got there.

Took my very bouncy dog to have his nails clipped.The member of staff was so good with him. He wasn?t on his best behaviour ? but she was very reassuring to him ( and me! ) all done and dusted in such a short time. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend. ??

Waited 25 minutes for someone to show us the hamsters. When Steve finally arrived, he seemed more focused on making a sale than helping us. After briefly speaking with us, he refused to sell us a hamster because we?re from Wrexham?claiming it was ?too far? and suggesting the hamster would die on the journey home, even though we clearly stated we had a secure carrier and everything ready.
He questioned what cage we had, and even after we told him we had a Bucastate 100x50 fully set up at home, he insisted we?d need to provide proof before we could even see a hamster. All of this happened in front of other children, which was completely unnecessary and unprofessional.
We are responsible and experienced pet owners, but we won?t be returning. Steve?s rude attitude and dismissive behavior have lost you a customer. He couldn?t be bothered and made it clear. Very disappointing experience.
We?ve been to many different places for hamsters before and have never been treated this poorly. Thanks steve.
Edit: After looking at other reviews, it seems that if you have an English accent or are from England, they may have a problem with you too. Make sure to only come to this store if your welsh!

I wanted to buy a gerbil for my kids.
The employees are unhelpful and rude.
The problem with the manager was that they didn't buy the cage there.
I will never go there again!!!

We wanted to buy a hamster or a gerbil. We had a smaller cage, they said it's not big enough, fair enough, we bought online 2 other cages with different sizes and those were bigger than they requested. After we went back they still were not happy with our new cages but had stupid reasons. Finally the manager admit that all of their problem is that we didn't buy the cage from them but bought somewhere else. We wanted to buy lots of extra bits with the animal but left everything there. This is ridiculous. The manager was extremely rude.

Visited pets at home 2 days ago reference my yorkshire terriers diet had some advice from a male employee I purchased a bag of salmon scrambles I'd just like to say thank you wow what a difference in my dogs wellbeing . Thank you for your advice.
