Just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary this evening which my daughter had arranged. We all had a wonderful evening the food was amazing and all served at the same time the staff were pleasant and a great venue. Thanks to all the staff for your service

Had a lovely meal here with 20 of our friends for my husbands 40th, the food came out all at once and it was piping hot, the food itself absolutely lovely. Everyone in the party had said they thoroughly enjoyed it, we will definitely be back, everyone in our party had different food items off the menu and no complaints whatsoever ever x

Went for a wedding, staff seemed good, food was alright but outside buffet meant food got cold quickly, though not the fault of the staff. Had a lot of non-wedding people outside though but they were kept seperate. Heard there were some issues with setting up but I don't know much about that. Drinks were decently priced. DJ was friendly and very good. In my personal opinion I would recommend.

Absolutely amazing venue we hired the delph for our reception and everything was spot on the food was amazing the staff are just the best, especially Chelsea the events coordinator she couldn't do enough for us. Memories that will last forever thank you.

Sadly, this is not a venue if you eat meat, prefer home-cooked food or expect value for money.
We booked for Sunday lunch. On arrival, the pub staff were busy dealing with customers attending a community event. Consequently, we had to join a queue at the bar to order drinks and to place our food order for four. We were in no particular hurry but after thirty minutes our meals had yet to arrive. However, burgers were served to an adjacent table and we were surprised by how small they appeared. We overheard the resulting voices of disappointment and felt relieved that we had each ordered the more traditional, Sunday roast.
Our meals did eventually arrive. But, oh dear! I had ordered the belly pork but the 'meat' consisted of two, three-inch slivers of the thinnest possible, fatty, insipid and questionable bacon(??). In total, this amounted to less than a mouthful. I gave it to our dog. And the roast beef was equally diminutive and lacking in taste. But let's be generous - hats off to the person capable of carving any meat that thinly! Unfortunately, in addition, the roast chicken proved bland, over-cooked and chewy.
We were each served the same (defrosted/microwaved?) watery vegetables. These included a tasteless sloppiness of what we assumed had once been carrots and three small pieces of roast potato forlornly swimming in a sea of water mixed with an anaemic, flavourless gravy. To be fair, the red cabbage could be tasted, the plates were hot and our male server was a friendly soul. But we were taken aback that any chef would permit meals of such poor, substandard quality ever to leave their kitchen.
We did not stay for dessert but drove home and made ourselves a tasty omelette with fresh ingredients. We love our pub Sunday lunches. Over the years, some have proved a joy, others, admittedly, less so. Regrettably, our Sunday lunch at the Delph proved, by some margin, to be the most disappointing. A venue to be avoided, I'm afraid.

This place blew me away, after a long day at work last thing I wanted to do was make a roast when I got home, so when my 16 year old said she was hungry an not feeling great (good old mother nature) we turned up on the off chance we'd get a dinner we were greeted an seated really quickly they had live music outside bouncy castle trampolines for the kids, the formula 1 was on the TV in the restaurant area which made my girls day the roast beef an chicken dinners where out of this world an there was plenty of it but the puddings are a different level to the point when my baby girl tried the cheesecake she started to fill up an stated 'she didn't know what it was she needed today but there cheesecake was definitely it' never has she been that way about meals out they are nailing it up there and we will be back to try their wing Wednesday 100%

We visited the Delph twice in 3 days this weekend. Some lunch for the kids Friday and roast dinners for all of us today. Outstanding food, great service and a really relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be returning. Thanks!

Booked my dad?s 90th birthday party, Nicola was amazing and extremely helpful. Staff were very friendly and helpful, buffet was outstanding with plenty of food and great choice for everyone. Food was continually refreshed to ensure everyone had enough to eat. Thank you all very much for making a very special family occasion exceptional

First visit to The Delph Bar for lunch. The food was lovely and the menu had a good selection. Nice roaring fire which we enjoyed sitting in front of. The young lady who provided the service was so friendly and engaging. We will return.
