Not one to ever write a review, maybe we had a bad evening here but it was quite possibly the worst food I?ve ever seen. I?m only sorry I didn?t take photos of the rest of the meals. The owner was very pleasant and interacting with my little boy but when he came over and asked about this certain meal because he could see she wasn?t enjoying it & my grandmother said it wasn?t the best his reply was ? it is what it is ? and walked off .. my little boy couldn?t touch his chips because every single one was tiny and hard like off the the bottom of a pile in a chip shop.

A really reallt good standard of very well prepared food. The menu here contains more than the normally found range of limited, repetitive, disappointing number of predictable choices. Their curries and their leg of lamb are excellent.
Children friendly pub, with both indoor and outdoor seating.
Quite highly recommended.

Worse chips I had for many years, I complained to the manager and staff, they could only say, I will tell the chef, a I apologise
And that was that, it stays home cooked chips, they was all scrapped. Won?t be eating there again

Quiet pub, food was okay. Server of food was amazing, inquired as to why she had her arms covered. Was informed that she had a tattoo and was company policy to cover it. We just felt that we?re in a day and age now where everything was acceptable. Would probably put us off from coming again as we may have had tattoos ourselves.

Booked for 5 people to have a meal. Very friendly staff, good pub food and plenty of it. Had 2 rounds of drinks and multiple courses, around £27 per person, very reasonable prices, reccomended.

I would leave 0 stars if possible. Me and my friends visited this ?establishment? on the 15th of March 2025. We was having a few quiet drinks when one of my friends who suffer with MS took a fall, no fault of her own, she was far from intoxicated as we only had one or two drinks at this time. Unfortunately, we had the horrible experience of coming across the horrid owner. He refused to serve us after her fall. We explained that she suffered with MS but he did not care. It was visible our friend was suffering with her mobility, he questioned her illness and proceeded to speak to us in such a rude and vile manner saying ?if she suffers with MS where is her crutch?. This is a clear example of discrimination against disability and disgusting customer service. We will never return to this ?establishment? and that is a stretch calling it that. I highly suggest to stay away from this business!
