Ok well after hearing good things and we were local ish, couldn't be bothered cooking so we thought let's give it a go!
As we approached we could smell the smell of fish n chips, that was nice and appetising. My wife went in and bought fish and a jumbo sausage in batter, both with a small portion of chips. In the car on the way home...salivating...
Unfortunately on opening the packaging, the chips were very scrappy and a lot were black, my wifes fish had soggy batter ?
My sausage was ok tho!!!
I don't know what to say, considering some of the previous reviews, maybe an emergency under par potato supplier, maybe no time to change the oil? I'm not a fryer so I can't say what was wrong but as a customer I felt let down. I don't think I'll be venturing the 5 miles or so from my home to try it again ?

Got chippy tea last night, my husband?s fish and chips were fab but I was disappointed with my chicken curry and chips, loads of chips and sauce but hardly any chicken, I had about 3 pieces very disappointing for the price it cost.

Don't trust the prices on the menus. I was charged more for a very disappointing burger than the £3.50 it was advertised to cost. At least the chips are decent.
