Service was very slow ,party of 7 including baby of 12 months and 4 year old .Order taken promptly and then sat and watched customers come order, eat and leave .An hour later I eventually got up to ask about our order and fobbed off with a So What reply and NO apology. Avoid like the plague.!!!!!

Lovely garden cafe for a bite. The smoothie was unexpectedly delicious with a hit of lemongrass. The ladies were very friendly and we came back twice while we were in town for the week!

We stopped for lunch on our way to Caernarfon with the dogs. Lovely park to run the dogs by their ample parking. Lovely outside seating area. Service and food was great with the food perhaps pricey for what you got. However, despite a very busy kitchen, a generous side salad was procured to accompany my meal when I mentioned it's absence. They explained that most people were leaving it behind so it got thrown.
The dogs were treated to some leftover sausages from the delightful staff, which prompted the table next door to offer their leftover ham. My dogs would give it five stars too!
Shame about the very slow traffic through the town, which created the only bottleneck on our journey...

Not many places impress my with good service, the Lost ARC did!
We stopped for lunch on a busy Friday as we traveled up to Caernarfon. As I placed our order, the server let me know it would be a 30 wait for food, so I could decide if we were prepared to wait. I was glad we did, the food was somewhat expensive, but really lovely. However, what really stood out was the excellent service from everyone we interacted with, the whole team seemed determined to make us feel welcome and valued. I highly recommend stopping at The Lost ARC for a meal, if you are in Rhayader, I know I will!

What a gem!
A bit hidden, but well worth stopping off.
There's nowhere else in Rhayader open after 6. We called in after a few hours on the road and the staff were lovely and the drinks were fabby.

Brilliant food and atmosphere here today. It was one of the best lunchtime meals out I've tasted in a long time. The quiche of the day was delicious, and so were the baby potato sides! The staff were very friendly and helpful. You could sit inside or out; we chose inside.
We will definitely visit again!

It would be easy to drive past this place not knowing it was there as it's off the main road but I am glad I found it. Myself and a friend went there for breakfast. We both had a Welsh breakfast which was made up of local produce and very tasty and with a mug of tea was thoroughly enjoyed thank you to the friendly staff for a great start to the day and when I am in the area next it's one place I will be visiting again.
