“Been coming to this pub for a few years now, not a regular by any means but we always try and call in for a pint whenever we are passing through, it’s been taken over recently and they have done a lot of improvements to the pub which is great to see. The things that we love about this pub is the locals here are very friendly and they make you feel part of it as soon as you walk through the door, which is rare nowadays also the staff are really friendly as well and they also serve a lovely pint of Worthies at a good price, can’t comment on the food as we haven’t eaten here yet, would recommend this pub if you are visiting Rhayader well worth a look.”

“Preboooked a table here for Saturday 23rd September 2023 as we knew it would be busy, was recommended by an ex work colleague so we thought we would give it a try. My partner had the venison burger and I had the 12 oz rump steak both meals were spot on and good value for money - the burger and steak were very tasty. We will definitely come here again as we found the pub very friendly with a good atmosphere love these old country pubs. Thanks Mark.”
