“This is probably the best small local convenience store I have visited. The shop is well stocked and well styled and has loads of essentials, a great range of products. It's not the cheapest but it's no worse than other convenience stores in the area. Highly reccomended.”
“Extraordinary to think this was once a little village shop until owners Pam and Gareth took over the garage opposite and converted it into a highly successful mini supermarket. As well as a good range of everyday items here are lots of delicatessen-quality offerings. On the well-stocked meat counter the ham and bacon is superb and the pork & leek sausages supreme. Their bara brith (Welsh loaf) is a signature dish of the highest quality. Outside, petrol is very reasonably priced considering they have a virtual monopoly. The lady shop assistants are all pleasant. A pity the same can't be said of the men, several of whom seem permanently grumpy and doing you a favour by serving you.”
