Good quick service, no complaints with the food. Friendly staff. Only reason I didnt give 5 is because I feel £4.95 is a little steep for a kids small meal.

Called in for a takeaway it took for ever to place my order then waiting another age to receive it. I found the fish and chips well over priced and the quality was not the best

I was recommended this Chip Shop, whilst on holiday. I'm very glad it was recommended. Best fish and chips I've had in years! There was quite a queue, but it moved along steadily. Lovely staff and very clean establishment. We would 100% make a point of going again, if in the area.

We really enjoyed food from here. Busy but worth the wait. Batter was really crispy. One thing needs sorting is extractor fan outside was dripping stuff from it onto pavement.

It was good to see that there was a good queue in the chippie on a Friday night. It was also good so see that the do fish in crumb. We got fried chicken and chips and were a bit surprised that the salt and vinegar question applied equally to the chicken as to the chips but it was lovely none the less.

Just had small fish n chips and a curry sauce, and they were delicious. The batter was lovely, l recommend anyone eating here, I had takeaway as I'm on holiday.

Wife ordered pie and chips, pie was cold, told the server. Cook came back with thermometer in pie, refused to acknowledge there's a problem. Really poor attitude to customer service. Would not recommend it to anyone. Look elsewhere is my advice.

This chippy has a poor customer service, food is substandard. Refuse to believe there was a problem when a complaint was made. Walked out. They're in denial. Never again.

Worst Fish and Chip shop in Wales I would say !!Staff very arrogant and rude really felt like they could not be bothered with any type of complaint or deal with criticism regarding there food ??Chips swimming in oil and the batter on the fish soggy and very chewy in places had to head back to the caravan for a shower and brush my teeth after this experience, It says a lot when you put it down on the wall and the seagulls stay clear of it. I would not advise anyone try this establishment from our experience I really don?t get some of the positive reviews we must of been on the wrong time of year or day maybe (not)

The service was good. Food was good quality but the portion was pitiful. We 'as 2 adults and child' came away still feeling hungry for what we paid. It was like having 3 kids meals when in reality we ordered 2 adults meals and 1 kids. Plus we never got the ice cream that came with the kids meals. There is more value for money at other seaside towns in North wales inc llandudno and conwy. Why can't they put chips on the plate instead of in a metal bucket. It's not a Michelin restaurant. It serves fish and chips!!

Whilst in the queue I was communicating via texts with my daughter who stayed in the car. She said she wanted potato scallops. Asked a young lad behind counter if they were them in the hot counter and he said yes and the last lot too. Asked when they were cooked as looked dry he said 6pm and it was now 7.10pm. Sent daughter a photo which she replied yes she would still have them. The lad then proceeded to throw them in the bin , when questioned he then said that I was going to put the photo on Facebook !!!!!! WOW how pathetic his mindset was. But being old enough to be his mother I wouldn?t understand. To begin with I?m not on Facebook and never have been. So to have been insulted and wrongly accused as a customer trying to decide on my purchase I was livid and couldn?t think straight at this point. We ordered but not the right stuff but had to make do, more lost sales as well as the binned scallops. He also said he was the manager wow !?!?!?!? Started to eat our food well the fish might as well as been chucked too as god knows when that was cooked skinny fish all batter but dry and hard. Not at all good. Had fish there before and it?s been nice. The chips were ok but they do give massive portions of chips again advocating waste, couldn?t eat them all. Be better to cut the portions and the price too. Also if he didn?t think they were Facebook worthy (whatever that looks like ) but he was still prepared to sell them up to that point beggars belief what their standards / due diligence procedures are ???? Morale of the story is do not upset your LOCAL customers. That?s it now I will take my money elsewhere out of principle. AND don?t get complacent with a bumper summer season as it?s a long winter here in Pwllheli so treat your locals with a bit more respect and intelligence!!!

We visited on the advice of trip advisor reviews.To say the least, we were very impressed.Que was out the door, which tells its own story. Large que must mean great quality. As said before, quality and portion size and prices were just beyond expectation.Staff friendly and apologetic for the time it took to be served.Chips were fresh and fish was lovely. Kids enjoyed their meals, all eaten up and none to waste.Located near the centre and by the carpark. Also noted there was indoor seating.

We came as a family of 12 and wanted to eat inside. 9 of our family could be seated and we were told there was no more room inside.. fine..So myself, my husband and 2 year old got a takeaway from there to sit and wait for the others and eat outside. My two other children were inside with grandparents etc, We got our food, sat down to eat then we?re asked to leave the outdoor sitting area by a young man working there. We were told we were not allowed to eat our food as we had a takeaway?I think someone with more brain cells needs to wait on, the food was great and we spent a considerable amount, But ourselves and other customers outside thought it was very disgraceful, unprofessional and totally unacceptable making us leave given that there was 9 other family members inside. It was made clear we were all together and that we had tried to all be sat inside. My husband offered to pay the VAT to be seated outside?No excuse, just terrible customer service. Food 5*, Service less than 1* if that was possible.

Fish and chips was excellent. The place was busy (a good sign in itself) and the fish came straight out the frier and so did the chips. Both excellent. Staff always friendly and I recommend this place to friends and family who come to visit

We had fish and chips to takeaway, it was busy but well organised and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The fish and chips were delicious!
