We ordered 8 pizzas to take out as we were a big group of 12. It can get pretty busy so you usually have to book in advance, even for takeaway slots.Brilliant pizzas, friendly service, so nice to find this gem in Presteigne. Also love that the menu changes on a weekly basis to make use of various local ingredients. Also bought a bottle of the Skyborry Cider - made just up the road - really tasty stuff!

Absolute favourite place to eat in the area. We have visited many times as a couple and with various different friend groups and everyone loves it. Starters/salads are delicious and the pizzas are fantastic. Served by the owners who have great taste in wine and the cider is always a winner. Locally sourced, seasonal and interesting produce features highly on the menu and August (front of house owner) is calm and efficient even when the place is full to the brim. Last Sunday of each month also includes live music which is a perfect addition. Looking forward to our next visit already

Fantastic food and such a lovely team of staff. We were sad to only be able to go once in our stay! Pepperoni was great, as was the salad. So nice to see a local place so busy and doing well.

Wasn?t expecting to be in Presteigne for the evening but our car broke down on a Sunday and this was one of the few places open to eat. And what a nice place it is, too. A rustic charm with a simple menu of farinata, burrata and pizza, plus wine, beer and ice cream. Our tasty chickpea farinata was gf and vegan, perfect for our food intolerances and tasty, too. The staff are really friendly and make you feel at home. Great wine, great food, friendly staff? all for a reasonable price. Recommended!

Great pizza, salad, end & ice cream. The pizza had a delicious base & toppings. The interior has a very rustic atmospheric. Great food, well-done: go.

Was a bit noisy in downstairs front area near kitchen, but it is supposed to be "rustic"? Food was great, took half home!

At Daphe's the bistro style is carried off with panache. Everything needed is there, equally there's no waste in things that are unnecessary. Very clever use of straightforward, high quality ingredients. Presentation good. The mixed hors d'oeuvre was imaginative, the bread unusual but perfect as a complement. Pizza arguably rather salty, so would go without the anchovies next time. Drink options are all they need to be, prioritising fresh, good quality over range. Service excellent on a busy evening. Excellent value.

What a wonderful find at the gateway to Wales. From the outside you might just walk past it but Daphne?s is truly the Italian find hidden a in the valleys of Wales. True authentic Italian food focusing on pizza. The staff were really friendly and passionate about the service they provide. The menu is limited but for good reason as the pizza is as good as you might get in Italy. Homemade very unusual deserts such as Plum Ice Cream made from the plum kernels and plum sorbet, and Nectarine and Apricot Tart. If you are anywhere near Presteigne you must stop by, you won?t be disappointed.

What a gem of a place! Colourful, flavoursome food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Delicious salad and authentic Naples-style pizza for lunch, they also do small batch cider which I'd recommend to everyone. Looked really busy and buzzy on Friday night - I'd guess this place is really popular with locals, so best to book in advance. Definitely worth checking out if you're visiting Presteigne, you'll be glad you did.
