If you love animals please dont suppose the RSPCA they put animals down because its not economical to save them, the exploit volunteers well their managers are on £40 to £50k pay packets. over the years I've saved and released countless birds that the RSPCA wanted to put to sleep, if you dont believe me try being an animal rehaber for years and then you will see what i mean. Contact any animal rescue they will tell you the same even most vets dont support them. I can understand why elderly or nieve people would with their heat braking commercials that cost them millions of pounds to make with your donations. It's only since i worked with animals in need of all kinds that i then realised the truth and how wrong the animal welfare act is. Officers possess nothing more than a qualification in animal management that anyone can do most is just pure common sense and many have very warped views or unrealistic expectations for rehabilitation centers. I have now given up my rescue as a result of the way the RSPCA enforce these flawed laws. It all boils down to competition and money but im very proud that i did what i did and saved animals that the RSPCA wanted to put to sleep. We need to gight back against this corrupt organisation im just an example of thousands of self funded rescues closing down and i won't be the last. My advice to anyone willing to rescue animals is stay low dont be public work close with your vets and avoid the RSPCA like the plague
