I booked a spa morning with some friends. It didnt disappoint..the pool, hot tub and view was amazing. The treatment we had was lovely, really relaxing. They were short staffed so we had abit of a wait for our lunch, but staff was apologetic. Its well worth a visit if your in need of a pamper.

Lake Country House Hotel & Spa is one of those rare places where everything just feels right. The peaceful setting is perfect for long walks, board games, or simply unwinding and enjoying the quiet. I started the weekend with a fantastic massage that set the tone for everything that followed.
What stood out most to me, though, was the staff. They were not only professional and attentive, but genuinely warm and welcoming. Every interaction felt personal, never forced. It?s rare to find a team that makes you feel both completely looked after and completely at ease. It added so much to the overall experience.
And the food? Absolutely delicious from start to finish. I?d return in a heartbeat.

Went for a spa day today, beautiful location, amazing treatment, no glass of prosecco or herbal tea as advertised. Spa facilities are average, hot tub on the balcony is lovely. Indoor pool is freezing.

I have just spent 3 days at the lake hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Good wonderful. A lovely place for a relaxing break .

I booked a room in error, got the wrong Wells! Management quickly and efficiently rectified my mistake, giving me a refund when they were not obliged to. Top customer service, well done!

Rooms comfortable not aircon.
Food superb.
Service throughout exceptional!
If you want 5 in all categories the mattresses are too springy and because of the structure collapse at the edges.

We were given a gift voucher for dinner, bed and breakfast along with use of the spa. We stayed one night and it was wonderful! The four course dinner was immaculate and the service throughout was spot on. The rooms were clean and well furnished and the beds were very comfortable! We slept very well. We walked the grounds and found them pretty and peaceful. We only used the spa briefly the morning we left but it was also lovely. Overall great place, we wished we could have stayed longer
