Visited with my wife whilst on holiday in the local area. Some of the best thai food I?ve had outside of Thailand itself - maybe even on par! The lady working front of house (Bev) was an absolute delight and looked after us amazingly. Apparently the owner/chef works alone with a little help on the weekends. I don?t know how she manages it - incredible. VERY well priced - £60 for 3 courses and multiple drinks.
Interior is a nice mix of British pub/thai-style decoration.
If you?re in the area, you have to visit this place and show support. You won?t be disappointed!

Bit expensive but the food is delicious

As others have mentioned, a bit of a wait for the food, but there's a reason. The proprietor was working single handed, no staff to help!
One of the regulars stepped in to lend a hand.
However the food was delicious and worth the wait.
Very reasonable prices too. Main course and a drink each £27 total. I'm just visiting the area, but if I find myself in the area again, then I would return.

Amazing food, we had starters mains and drinks for 2 & it come to £35 it was the best Thai we've had (and we've had a few) the whiskey chicken is amazing, I had the chu chi with chicken and pineapple with sticky rice, sooooo good, the satay gai ( satey chicken) is melt in the mouth good, we left a £15 tip, so underrated, I would definitely return xx

Stopped here on the way down to Swansea, looking for a quick takeaway. Saw the high rating for Drovers. Now understand why. Excellent food, great vegetarian options, and very reasonably priced. Would go out of our way to stop here again! Thanks

We were on a road trip in Wales and were looking for a vegetarian friendly place for dinner and ended up at Drovers. It is in a sleepy street in Llandrindod wells. We ordered TomYum soup, Veg Red Curry, Green curry and Wild curry with sticky rice and Ceg Pad Thai. Everything was very tasty. The restaurant is run by a friendly Thai lady and everything is authentic. Definitely worth a visit while in this part of the world.
Vegetarian options: Veg curries and Pad Thai are excellent

Visited this restaurant on Saturday and had a great meal, nicely cooked, prepared and all served in a timely fashion. The bill was very reasonable and the staff were friendly and efficient. Having traveled to SE Asia earlier this year I can say that the food was very authentic. Definitely somewhere to try and enjoy!!

The food here is as good as any Thai food that we have experienced anywhere in the UK, or Thailand for that matter. The owner generally runs the whole place on her own since the passing of her husband so please be patient, it is worth the wait. This is probably the best value for money in the area and in the 10 years we have been eating here we have not had a substandard meal.

They still accommodated us for dinner despite the last minute booking. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Good location.Would?ve preferred flat rice noodles for my pad thai. The veggie starter was okay?I liked the small pancakes(dunno what they?re called). They?re really flavourful. The Pad Ka Praw was also tasty. They haven?t updated the prices on their menu, so expect an additional 20% on the total bill. A bit pricey for Wales, but anyhow, you?ll truly enjoy your meal. Thai food never disappoints x
