The Porthmadog Travelodge has to be one of the best places we've stayed in for a long time ,,,we stayed in a wheelchair accessible room as my wife is disabled and can't walk at all ,the room was just right and the bathroom and shower wet room was equipped to a finnish that was better thought out and designed than most of the top named hotels ,The staff were very helpful, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble, everywhere was clean and tidy,,we would definitely stay there again when we visit that part of Wales in the future, and we highly recommend staying there if you are ,or anyone in the family is disabled and in a wheelchair.Rooms: One of the best wheelchair accessible rooms we've stayed in

Absolutely massive room I was very pleasantly surprised! Very clean and friendly staff, only downside is it?s down a very dark long road if you?re walking to/from town but that?s not something that can be helped obvs!

One of the best budget rooms I have ever stopped in.The staff should be proud of what they have created. While it's a budget hotel it didn't feel that way. A good location with fair amount of onsite parking.

Hotel was alright, frieldy staff, standard room, no soap, slightly dirty worn off towels. We only stayed for the night to sleep and it did fine.

Rooms nice. Even though the location is on a small industrial estate it was quiet. One 10 minutes walk to the harbour and Ffestiniog

Not the greatest location on an Industrial Estate, but now very nicely refurbished.5 out of 5 for the bathroom with a fantastic shower and extractor fan, the bed room's decor, carpeting, super comfy bed, great lighting and facilities. Also good that you can turn the heating off and open a window for some fresh air....... The Refurb is only spoilt by one thing...... the very small televisions (24 inch?) ....... Must bring a pair of binoculars to be able to watch it from the bed if we stay again.

Lovely friendly welcoming. My husband Alan took ill on way there. Dawn & Maise (not sure on spelling) were so kind, helpful & caring. System had broken down as we were trying to stay 2 more nights. They did all they could for hours till finally sorted it out for us. Thank you travel lodge. & a million thanks to Dawn & Maise. Will never forget your kindness. Would recommend this travel lodge to everyone. Went far beyond expectations. Look forward to staying there again. As well as this the place was spotless, comfy bed, plenty towels. Thanks again God bless you. Adrina & Alan Price.

Perfect location for us. Cosy, comfy, clean rooms. Looks quite new, not sure how long it's been there. Staff were polite and friendly.

Just out of town near Aldi, Go Outdoors and Sports Direct. Clean rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend Breaktimes cafe just round the corner for an excellent breakfast

Hotel was central to the town,it was clean and staff were pleasant and helpful. However I feel the increase in prices is a bit expensive compared to a B&B with breakfast included. Would use again for one night ,but not for a break.

Very clean, but basic and since you get a breakfast box for your room they should provide two chairs since most people using it are couples

It's a Travelodge so you kind of know what you're getting. Lovely friendly and welcoming staff. Watch out for the dive bombing seagulls in the car park.

A comfortable-enough stay. The hotel is easy to find and the staff were very helpful. It's what you'd expect from a Travelodge. The main downsides were the lack of any locking on our room's bathroom door, as well as the incredibly noisy seagulls which were pretty constant. Other than those, the area was pretty quiet and the wi-fi was quite reasonably-priced. The reception closes at 10pm and opens at 6am, so bear this in mind if out late / coming back early.
