A nice stay, it's a very clean and modern hotel. TV worked well and any problems were solved quickly.Be aware that it does back onto a haulage yard which means that with the window open it can be noisy early in the morning but other than that fine.Also if you are staying the cafe Break times is a 2 min walk away and gave us the best breakfast we've had in a long time.Food & drinks: No cooked breakfast available

Rooms: Our room wasn?t clean. The bedding and spare pillows were badly marked / stained. We didn?t stay although we were offered another room. We did complain and were promised a full refund.Walkability: Lodge is on an industrial estate 10 minute walk from town

Great value 2 night stay. Hotel is on a industrial estate, The Welsh lady who booked us in was pleasant welcoming, and very helpful. We had room 214 it overlooked a building supply yard and I was worried it would be very noisy, it was not. The view of the mountains made up for it. The room was modern clean and spacious with a tiny tv, ( I didn't realise they still made TV's so small) One thing I would point out is cleaning staff need to double check as the bathroom the floor was dirty, especially behind the door. Shower was spotless but soap dispenser needs fixing. The heating in the room was good. When leaving and entering the hotel we always had a pleasant chat with both ladies we encountered. Its a good base and I would definitely stay again.

Grabbed a bargain and stayed 2 nights here in early December. It was the perfect place for a short break. Staff really friendly, rooms were warm and comfortable and there were amenities close by (the town is two minutes away). Would stay again.Rooms: Large enough, warm and cosy.Nearby activities: The town is very close but there are a couple of supermarkets almost next door.

Comfortable, clean, good location not far from Porthmadog itself.Walkability: Porthmadog centre is a walkable distance (15 mins I think). Also Breaktimes, a lovely cafe, is about a 5 minute walk away and does great breakfast and lunch.
