Local company, expecting the guests to carry out all the cleaning duties, even though the gusts are charged an attractive amount of money for the cleaning fees. Apartment had too much noise from upstairs, followed by a strange smell in the apartment.Check in time is 5pm (too late) and check out is at 10am (too early) as people with family need time and space, which does not seem to be fair with the amount of money charged for the accommodation. Less time spent at the property.Area is very attractive and thus why tourists come, they need to be understanding that if we pay the price they set, they should be hospitable at least.A disappointing after experience!

My Amor at Black Rock Sands. Great location, spacious accommodation. However that is as good as it gets. Place was dirty, bedding stained, furniture shabby, half eaten packets of food in cupboards that had undergone the "enhanced covid sanitisation process".Booking process was easy and staff were very friendly, professional and helpful, however they were badly let down by the attitude of the office manager when we dared to complain.This place definitely does not deserve the rating it hasBook with caution

We have rented holiday properties from Gwen at StS Porthmadog for many years. Fantastic service. Very pleasant, very helpful staff. We would not rent from anyone else. We have never had a complaint from any property. Thank you Gwen and your staff.

We recently stayed at Maes a mor Morfa Bychan North Wales, a STS holiday property. Encountered many problems during our holiday including undercounter fridge and freezer which were unusable due to the fact that the doors wouldn't stay closed. Dishwasher that didn't work. Garden furniture smashed and left scattered around the untidy garden. Glass from the broken garden table not cleared away properly. When raining the conservatory roof leaked considerably including pouring through the light fixtures and fittings which is clearly a health and safety issue. We informed STS about the many problems and they did rectify the dishwasher issue the day before we were leaving, unfortunately none of the other problems could be dealt with due to the magnitude of them. We appreciate that these are challenging times but feel STS holidays have a duty of care and should inspect the properties before letting them. We have since been offered a £100 goodwill gesture from the owner but feel that this is not sufficient considering the many problems we encountered. We emailed STS holiday as we are unhappy with the goodwill gesture, we have received no response.

July 2020. My Wife and I booked Estuary Flat, Porthmadog, property code 1023 fo one week. STS rate this property as Grade 4 but we felt that the property fell well short of this grading. We returned home after only two days and called STS to check if the grade was correct. Their response was that property grading is carried out by Visit Wales. A call to Visit Wales confirmed that the property was graded 3*. STS when challenged said that Visit Wales limit the grading of properties with only one bedroom to 3*. Visit Wales confirmed this to be untrue. We will visit North Wales again but will certainly not be using STS.
