Very nice owner, she's restoring this old building, starting with the rooms. So when you first walk in, don't be alarmed. It gets better as you go up the stairs. Our room was updated, new carpet and comfortable bed. We were very happy with the excellent service and deal$. The owner even helped us carry items upstairs.

Two of us stayed for two nights, plenty of safe, off road parking for our motorbikes, Shian very welcoming upon our arrival, clean room, comfortable beds, as much tea/coffee as you want. Easy walk into town, no breakfast available at the moment, as advised on their website, but local cafes and Tesco nearby, excellent value for money, will certainly stay again..

Brilliant, especially for the price. Gave us a cosy base for our weekend. We'd messed up the booking, so our room with external private bathroom wasn't strictly a double but worked fine. Actually liked the arrangement, that end was quiet enough the external bathroom just made it feel a bigger space. Honest place. Will be great to see how it evolved in future.

Value for money, clean rooms in a good location. You have to phone a mobile number to check in. Hotel is a building site being upgraded, no bar/food available. Stairs to top floor for rooms. No lift. Key provided to outer door for night access.Nearby activities: Ffestiniog and Welsh highland railways.

All good, nice comfy bed for two (or three, it was king size.) Hot electric shower cabinet, and hot water on tap. Plenty of fresh towels Lots of free beverages. Central location. Next to transport links to Portmerion and castle, football. Quite quiet, even when the trains running. Stayed in room no 5. Wish we had picked room no 6. Most other rooms and floors under some type of construction. So get here quick before the prices rise.Rooms: Sweet, petit efeite. Whole lot of stuff, in a space so small, with large window. To gaze from and watch the world go on by. Never used heating, although there.Nearby activities: Portmerion's not far by foot, bus, bicycle, train via Minfford. Footballs quite close by. Very busy main street (Complete with a quaint harbour with narrow gauge railway attached) lots of curio shops, hair style parlours, bars galore. A hidden gem, well policed by both people and people in stab vests in automobiles with blu lights and sirens.Walkability: Floors accessable, owners great in invisibility, until called or texed. Parking for many vehicles of most types/sizes.Food & drinks: Top electric kettles and multiple beverages in foil and paper packets. To caffeine (or not) Relax in safety. Watch some Sc4 on TV (other channels available.)

Lovely owner/lady who showed us in. The hotel is perfectly placed near the town. Price is great too. Simple, all you need.

Room itself was OK, however it is in need of refurbishment especially the bathroom which had an extremely strong chemical smell and significant amounts of mould. There are also 2 sets of stairs to get to the rooms without any lifts, this can be difficult if you have limited mobility or are carrying heavy luggage. Owner was fairly nice.

Nice & clean room with a very comfortable bed, plenty of tea & coffee & complimentary porridge for breakfast. We knew before hand there was no breakfast currently available. The Queens is under going a renovation by Sian which may put some people off, however, if you're on a budget its perfect. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed 6 nights with Rachel and Liam in early August. Recently refurbished room with nice decor and very comfy bed. Great atmosphere with attentive and freindly staff. Excellent breakfast. Great location for easy access to both the beach and Harlech Castle and all local amenities. Highly Recommend.
