Post Offices in Porthmadog, Wales

“Almost always perfect but try to explain how your box won't fit inside their box sending a small parcel, then you discover more training is needed (I send an item which weighs 400Grams and is 59.5cm long and very thin and in it's box it only fits in the 35 x45 x 16 'small package size' by placing it across the 'solid diagonal' (top to bottom side to side) - at least some other post offices can 'see' this but rather than get into a heated debate which had already gone too and fro - decided it wasn't worth it in this post office especially when the person I dealt with tried to put my bow inside his box which was 35x45x16 outside dimension, but so clearly was much less than 35x45x16 inside meaning my solid diagonal item would stick out of the top (proof [he believed] that my item was too big! rather than point this obvious thing out I simply took it elsewhere - I've since been back to this post office and posted the same item at least a dozen times without the problem”
