Lodging in Porthmadog, Wales

“The pub itself is very nice. Good location.Good food. Reasonable prices. Good service. The room we booked was not in the pub itself but another building two minutes walk. The TV did not work and the kettle was temperamental. Room was small but the bed was very comfy and the shower was excellent. Staff very friendly.”

“Visited The Union Inn whilst on holiday in Wales with my Husband and Parents, we all had Lamb shanks OMG absolutely amazing meat fell off the bone, we had puddings as well we all had different puddings but all amazing. Staff so welcoming could not fault the service would definitely recommend a visit.”

“Hi , arrived on the Monday before dinner , on arrival you choose your own space ! Choose a place behind the sand dunes with electric hook up . Short walk over to the toilets/shower blocks , nice and flat couldn’t fault it tbf. Site was quite full even though the kids had gone back to school . 3/4 mins walk onto the beach . 10mph speed limit on the beach which wasn’t adhered to by most people , very surprised how busy the beach was . Well Monday to Friday day time was great . Then Friday 10 young teenagers 8 lads and 2 girls set up camp facing us .Endured hip hop gangsta rap and house music right thru to late sat nite ! Also a few large family’s turned up with the kids riding electric bikes right up to 11pm and the adults shouting at them constantly . From approx 18.30 hrs the beach then became a race track for loud performance cars right up to 23.00hrs at least and then again 1st thing sat morning at 08.00am . Same again sat night the beach was a race track , the back fire off the exhaust could be heard right thru the site . Great site mon-fri but would go to another site for fri-sun thou”

“Just out of town near Aldi, Go Outdoors and Sports Direct. Clean rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend Breaktimes cafe just round the corner for an excellent breakfast”
