Good choice of fruit and vegetables and good fresh bread at the bakery.Getting out with ones items is a little stressful when having to que for the self service as only one till is open. Which is often the case. Dirty area as one comes in and attempts to put gel on hands from the empty broken bottles left out . No excuse for leaving it like this.

Always such good value and this store in Porthmadog is large and spacious. The middle of Lidl never fails to impress and the wine selection today was excellent.

It's a Lidl, lots of good food with a centre isle of tools and stuff that you might need. Sometimes the shelfs look a bit sparse though

Fab store. Loads of in store stock. Bakery was clean and bug free. Same old great lidl prices. Huge parking area. Helpful and kind staff. In store toilet too. Clean and tidy through out. Visited nearly daily as we was very impressed and happy and needed picking bits for out trips out whilst on holiday.

Great selection of items available in this modern well built and maintained store. I dropped my bank card but the till guy was totally fine with waiting for me to find it. Lovely lady out and easy to manoeuvre around

Great produce and prices. I do my weekly shop here as it's usually quiet. However they've lost points for literally frogmarching me to the self-service till, although told I am autistic, and forced to use it against my will, for which I've never really received a proper apology although technically it was an assault.

I rarely give five stars to anything but that doesn't mean Lidl's isn't good. It works well for us when we can get there. We appreciate the quality, the price and variety of the fresh produce, the diary items, and the Puglian extra virgin olive oil!

Shocking customer service. Arrived at 15.57 on Sunday to be told the store is closed. Only wanted one item but when I pointed out in was not yet 4pm the member of staff just walked away mumbling that the store is closed. What is the point of having set opening hours when staff choose to close early. Lots of others were baffled and turned away too.Should have gone to ALDI instead and will for sure go to ALDI in the future.

Hate this place with a passion after parking ticket. We took a bit longer than we should have 16 minutes to be precise and we're fined for it despite doing a big shop there and it was busy too they didn't waver it. So won't go there again

Not shopped properly at Lidl for years. Our shop would have been at least 50% more expensive at Tesco's. Plus the food quality is brilliant - full on Greek meal for us this eve!

Has improved over the last 12 months but still was short of vegetables. They have now taken out two of the tills and replaced with self-service not something I approve off.

The size and layout of this Lidl reminds me of European Lidl stores in Germany. Large and spacious but missing many of the European products. There are the occasional Alpine, French and Spanish weeks but for me these often lack recognisable quality. I do not want a choice of dubious cheese filled sausages of mechanically processed meat or currywurst. Quite often the unsold products, from the different weeks sit forlornly in their freezers; side by side. Dumplings filled with cream cheese sit next to unsold frozen lobsters. I am not sure to which country those weeks were... Perhaps Polish or Christmas. Instead I bought Welsh Organic milk, sweet potatoes, lemons, limes, frozen Mediterranean vegetables and Scottish Salmon. This store has a large car park. Token or £1 coin required for trolley. Infrequent visit.
