Waitresses did a fantastic job. Two of us had the leg of lamb Sunday roast with a Yorkshire (which are huge) and it was lovely. One of us had the beef and asked for well done and so it was a bit tough.

Lovely couple, good atmosphere and compfy. With some local welsh drinks, cosy beer garden. Can't say anything about food couse did'nt tried. 5/5

I?m amazed we got a Sunday table with only a few day?s notice, the roast was excellent (yet to be convinced about sugar snap peas on a roast but otherwise perfect!) the vegan option was superb also. Kids meals were good value and quality and the staff were friendly and attentive. Prices were spot on and fair.

We stopped at the Rock inn Bar & Grill on a sunny late Saturday afternoon / evening to try the wood fire oven menu in the rear garden. The atmosphere was amazing and I enjoyed a bottle of Malbec in a lovely sun trap alongside some close friends. The pizza was PHENOMENAL, likely the best I?ve ever had. As the wood fire oven is on full display, you can sit and watch Rob ( The landlord and chef ) prepare and cook each order by hand. Our pizzas arrived in good time and the orders soon began to stack up as other customers looked on and wanted similar. Rob remained calm and fully professional in this busy period to ensure quality of product and to maintain a noticeable high standard. £12 Margherita and £14 pepperoni - incredibly reasonable for the service and experience. Buy one get one free also advertised during the week. The menu included a variety of different pizzas as well as burgers and fish plates. I can?t wait to return again!

Good choice of beers. Nice seating in bar & other lounge area.
Didn?t eat so can?t comment on food but very nice beer & some decent background music. Shops nearby & good to explore ?

Lovely lunch out with the family. Young dark haired girl serving was often by herself but doing a brilliant job and so professional. Really yummy food and cosy atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: My 9yr old nephew was with us and his meal was a lovely size

Thoroughly enjoyed Sunday dinner here today!!Had to try after calling a few times before and having a selection of starters as small picks/tapas which each time were excellent experiences!And I have to say, today did not, at all, disappoint! Utterly delicious!I had lamb, and my partner had beef. He was asked does he like his pink or well done (which I thought was fab, as often in places you are told, not given choice.. and knowing they do both means I can also now bring my Dad sometime, as he prefers his beef well done on a dinner)The meats were succulent, the mixed seasonal veg were perfectly cooked, and the homemade Yorkshire pudding , and the roasties were to die for. The pea puree, roasted parsnips, and carrot added that extra touch of deliciousness, along with the gravy which was mouthwateringly good!The waitresses are also super attentive, providing a really great experience and service!Will definitely be back!!
