Requested a very well done steak. It was sent back to the kitchen as it was under cooked and came back as shown in the pictures. I couldn't eat the steak as it was still so under cooked. Was told they had told the chef and still charged full price. Even Whetherspoons can cook a steak to fit your request. In previous bad reviews, I note they always say 'if you had told us we would have rectified the issue', however, that didnt work for me and the staff didn't seem particularly bothered. Awful food, no apology and overpriced for a poorly cooked meal.

Gorgeous food and lovely staff. Bit slow tonight but only one bar person present, and they were very attentive and very smiley. Discerning wine selection - my malbec was excellent . Been here twice now and each time has been a very good experience.

Been a few time now. Food is lovely. Sunday lunch is fabulous. Staff are wonderfull. Its a pleasure to visit the place. Well done to all involved in the running of the business

We stumbled across The Brit as we were staying the night nearby and were so glad we did! Delicious food, lovely staff and great decor!

Been before, the food was delicious and has been in my previous experiences. The service was a bit slow and the food was delayed due an error that wasn't communicated so I had to ask what was going on. I was annoyed but the food taste and flavour when it came won me around. Expensive but worth it it they can tighten up on service

Before starting, I have to say that We're already planning a trip for dinner with our families! We visited having been for a drive around the surrounding valleys as we'd promised ourselves to eat there having stopped for a drink last summer. The menu has been overhauled since last year and we each went for a salad: to startbwr shared a plate of olives and focaccia and, for mains, my partner had the Caesar and I had House salad. The focaccia is baked in house and absolutely stunning; the salads were enormous, so much so that I think I had my "five a day" for the weekend in one sitting. Both salads were beautifully presented and really tasty. Also, the House salad has a choice of dressings which I really appreciated. Final mention must go to the staff and owners who were incredibly nice to talk to.

Thank you guys for the best Sunday lunch we?ve EVER had! Both the Lamb and Beef were so beautifully cooked there was no need for a knife, and the generous portion of meat on the plate was astounding! Accompanying veg and gravy were also in abundance and extremely tasty!
The fantastic meal coupled with the astoundingly warm welcome and friendly service we received left us once again eager for our next visit. Cannot give enough praise to every single aspect of this place! Thank you so much guys, it?s truly appreciated.
