Visited Aberavon today, a great experience. The game against Llandovery was exceptional. The result went against Aberavon 24-21 but it was a great game to watch.There were 6 old farts visiting from Swindon RFC, the young guy who served us was excellent. He remembered our round which was impressive!

Absolutely Awful , the worst 'spoons breakfast and service ( apart from the waitress ) I've had ! My visit started badly and went downhill from there . From the very curt service from the Female staff member behind the bar as I ordered a large breakfast and coffee . I made my way to the coffee machine which wasn't working correctly and only delivering half a cup . So using it twice I eventually received an almost full cup. I made my way to my table and waited for my breakfast. After finishing my coffee and still no breakfast arriving I went back to the coffee machine where the milk was being replaced . I observed my breakfast arriving and as I was next in line got my coffee and walked to my table. I looked at my plate and was immediately downheartened ! The 'toast ' looked as if it had been shown to a lightbulb for about 10 seconds . The butter was so rock hard I had to place it under my coffee cup to try and melt it as my plate was cold ! My eggs, placed one on top of the other, were a gelatinous lump and lukewarm . As i was hungry I tried to make the best of it but after a short time I gave up . I consoled myself with my a sip coffee which tasted so bad I just left it . I pushed my plate away and started to walk out but I saw the waitress. Explaining that in no way did I blame I told her it was the worst experience I'd ever had in a 'spoons . I accompanied her to my table and she picked up my half eaten plate and was totally apologetic . I then left and I promised myself that I will not return . At the time of my visit the place wasn't even full there was plenty of free tables , and I have seen it a lot busier . In my view the Red LIon in Morriston , Swansea is a total shambles and waste of money !

I went here and ended up signing up to universal credit. The job centre staff were really friendly and now i'm getting £72 a week.

Called in on the hop for a quick bite have been there for several months .Although they were short staffed at the time the young girl and youth were very quick to make sure our table was clean and fit for purpose. We one had a curry meal i.The service was quick and efficient and the meal was hot.We each had a large rosy wine this your usual Wetherspoon pub but of the ones I have visited lately this one knocked spots off the other in staff appearance manners and attitude to public also presentation of meals Thank You

Food and service is disgusting. Tables were not cleared at all during our visit. Wi-Fi wouldn't connect. Order was taken and arrived with incorrect food. All violently ill after eating a small portion of the chicken

Great little pub, good atmosphere, amazing jukebox.

Usually quite good here but last visit was appalling. Nearly 90 minutes to get food and we only ordered 2 things. Daughter crying and when the food arrived we were accused of not being at the table or having ordered food to the wrong table. We ordered via the app and the drinks arrived pretty quickly (so couldn't have been at the wrong table) but the food service was rubbish. And staff quite rude. Only excuse given for the slow service was that it was busy. Yes it was busy but not excessively so with several empty tables. And when I went to ask about the time delay on the food there was 4 kitchen staff chatting in the kitchen (it is open plan and you can see in from the bar area.)

Went for a nice family anniversary meal terrible we spent £70 so disappointed we ordered a surf and turf scampi was slime and steak was really chewy, curry was cold naan bread was like rock, kids nachos where so dried and damp taste awful would never rush there again we went up and complained to the manager and she didn't care and carried on talking about our complaint to staff infront of us we will never go back so so disappointed

Just had the worst breakfast experience ever. Half an hour after ordering we enquired to find out that breakfasts were running at about an hour late due to the restraunt having run out of bread. We were also informed that we were now forth in the queue and our breakfasts should be with us in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later, our breakfasts arrived. Both My sister and I had toast based meals but instead of "white bloomer bread" we were given cheap, white, thin bread. When I complained to the male duty manager, he made excuses and took no responsibility at all for the fact that customers had not been informed of the problems, when ordering, or told of the inferior product being served He told me that I could complain in writing to the head office but he didn't know the address, and refused to give me his name.
