Wonderful place with helpful staff that are very friendly to talk to. Relaxed atmosphere with a real authentic experience. Beautiful quality food. Don?t change a thing. We need more independent cafes like this in our towns ??????. Keep up the great work and hopefully we?ll be back soon.

Very accommodating. I came here after my medical alert assistance dog and I had been turned away from another restaurant. The staff ignored my dog as they should and the manager moved a chair away to give my dog space to settle. They were very polite and welcoming, even offered a bowl of water and complimentary sausage to my assistance dog while understanding that he was working and couldn't interact.

I went here for food and everything we wanted it was not there so settle on a desert instead. While I was there I noticed a young girl who work there while serving people food she was eating chips from people plates and constant touching her nose and ears while serving food which I found unpleasant. This is not the first time I've have see this so this visit will be my last as I find it disgusting

Went in for a quick lunch of coffee and a panini, left with no great desire to return there. Staff greeted us with a fake smile and then talked to us with hints of sarcasm/boredom for seemingly no good reason. Panini bread was undercooked and not at all toasted, the coffee was perfectly fine, but if I wanted perfectly fine coffee, I'd go to a chain shop. The decor is quite pretty at least, but you'd be better off looking at it from the window outside.

My grandson wanted to go to Gregg's. I wish we had. We both ordered a toasted ham and cheese panini. Not sure the panini was cooked through as it was very stodgy and not sure that it was introduced to the toaster. A waste of money. I should've listened to my grandson

We had a lovely canolo and chocolate eclair (take away) 2 weeks ago so we tried the pasties this time both were dreadful - soggy pastry and think stodgy filling tasting neither of cheese and onion nor ?traditional? filling as each proclaimed. Far better pasties are on offer in the market or a few steps away in Greggs - and much cheaper. 4 hours later there?s still a limo in our stomachs

We'd driven 300 miles to my home town for a visit. Great to see The Prince's still there and still serving wonderful food.

Had a beautiful afternoon tea wedding reception here. Catering for 60+ guests and I was one of only two vegans but I was taken such good care of. The food was excellent and really ample and the service was so friendly and helpful. The upstairs room has such a beautiful, quaint atmosphere. Really loved it.
Dietary restrictions: I'm not sure how the day-to-day menu is but the catering for vegans at the wedding reception was excellent. Really plenty of lovely, tasty food and great variety.

Popped in today as window display looked amazing however, the custard slice was large and looked and tasted a little like rubber while the Welsh cakes were dry .
Very disappointed.

In Wales, literally everyone I mentioned Pontypridd to said I absolutely had to go to Prince's. I've been there and they were right! Especially for the desserts, delicious, but not only. Friendly and super efficient staff, charm of the historic venue, run by the same family of Italian origin for more than 70 years. One of the few remaining authentic, quality and not transformed into anonymous chains! Unmissable!

Disappointed to be honest. Had a table of 3 and we ordered lunch and a cake each. The drink were called medium on the menu but we actually cans passed over with a glass (mine had butter or something on it) and for £2.40 each, this was fairly steep.
The fish and chips was like something out of a primary school meal. You could pick it the battered triangle of disappointed and eat it with one hand. The burger was dry and under cooked chips.
The panini however was tasty with a good ratio of turkey and cheese.
The deserts were also very underwhelming with 2 arriving plated up and the brownie given in a take out bag... I was then offered a plate but poor mistake to make. The brownie could also be classed as a weapon as I reckon it would easily smash through a window of thrown at force.
Servers were lovely and didn't stop bless them. However the gentleman (who I'm assuming was a manager) doesn't seem cut out for this job. He walked upstairs, asked if a table had be served and then said he'd find someone to do it. Proceeded to stand behind a desk and asked multiple busy waitresses to serve this table. Why he couldn't just do it himself I don't know... So much for teamwork.
Highly overpriced food for the quality that came out and feel sorry for the waitresses for having to work for a lazy manager!
