My first time looking into renting a property and the lack of support is horrendous. The individual I spoke to on the phone was blunt, rude & I think there is a clear gap on customer service in the role. I won?t be contacting this agency again and will happily look elsewhere.

Called to arrange a viewing, agent didn't seem to care. Only 1 slot available for next week, wouldn't give availability for the week after and no interest in taking contact information incase they had a cancellation

Had many issues with Hopkins Johnson when renting a property through them. Originally meant to move into the property in February but this kept being pushed back to April which caused distress due to Hoskins Johnson's lack of due diligence in ensuring their landlord was able to let the property in good time.Communication was poor throughout and when we moved into the property the garage and spare room was filled with furniture when we had asked several times before that this would not be the case. On the moving day, Clare and Ian's approach was simply one of "Well you can pull out if you want" which was very disappointing.Thankfully the landlord was accomodating and able to support and sort out at short notice but agreed with me that Hoskins Johnson's communication was poor.Upon leaving the property, they tried to keep half of my deposit due a tear in the carpet (that was already present upon moving in) and was worn down due to reasonable wear and tear. The property was inspected a month prior to moving out and never mentioned. If you are a landlord, I woul personally avoid using them to manage the property as they spent at most 5 minutes having a 'glance'. We did successfully appeal this with the DPS and they agreed with our stance.Having since bought a property with a competitor of this Estate Agent, it's eye-opening how poor Hoskins Johnson's communication and attitude is.

Purchased a home that was being sold with Hoskins Johnson. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, they kept me updated via email and calls throughout the process and even chased things up when the solicitors stalled. Kayleigh was so helpful and kind - I really felt like they went above and beyond to make a stressful process a great experience. Would recommend them totally and would use them if I needed to sell in the future. Thanks all!

The most soul destroying experience I've ever had selling a house. 6.5 months of being told lie after lie, I'm moving, booking removals and annual leave on 3 occasions when my buyer could not sell her house. So close to losing the new home of my dreams. No communication no reply to emails, phone calls. Peter Alan saved the day and took care of my future and proved such determination to get me the only new home I wanted and Peter alan succeded. Its very. cruel of estate agents to mess about with your life like your just a number and fees, I should of dumped hoskins and Johnson much sooner

Asked to put an offer in for a property and they didn't take the offer to the owner because we offered on the same property 2 weeks prior. So Instead of letting us know that they don't think they will accept the offer, they just didn't take the offer to the owners. When phoned the day after they said that why did we think they would accept something that they declined 2 weeks before and just refused to take the offer to the owners. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL and a massive waste of time to deal with! Could of just told us that its an offer they probably wouldn't accept.Dealt with a really rude woman, But was phoned back by a nicer woman who was way more helpful!

Was due to view a property today with Hoskins and Johnson after being told to wait a week because today was the only day they were doing viewings . I asked if anyone was to put an offer in if we would still be able to see the property and was assured that that wouldn't happen . Two hours before the planned viewing I received a call saying an offer had been accepted and no more viewings are being held ! Myself and my wife took time off work to view the house today and the lady that called had no care what so ever . We then asked what if we were going to make a higher offer but she didn't want to know . How can this happen?It makes us wonder if theres an insider because surely if the seller was to get a higher offer they would be interested wouldn't they ? Absolutely terrible way to run a business .

Negligent letting agents, untrustworthy and unreliable regarding repairs and will do anything to obtain deposits.Likely okay as an agent to sell a home or "manage" a house for - but as a tenant, avoid. Repairs won't be acknowledged or fixed, if they are it will be to a low or unsafe standard and the workers have no customer service skills, atrocious to think they represent and are responsible for some of the behaviour of slum landlords.

I was happy to be buying a property and going through Hoskins Johnson for it. They were communicative and always kept in contact with us to make sure that it was going smoothly and to check on us and the transaction when it was needed. During the transaction, Kayleigh was the person I kept in touch with and she was very kind and patience with me when we encountered a problem and matters were resolved really quick.I would like to thank them again for their services.

Very disappointed made arrangements to view a property travelled 40 miles to get there and Ian phoned me to say they can't get hold of the owner to see property how this company is still going I don't know they did not even contact the owner in the first place and they told me to.be there at 10.00 to view it .wast of time.They had 3days to tell me what a waste of my time off and the travelling I did also Ian who works there got a bad attitude problemKeep well away
