I visited your store today (June 24, 2025) at around 2:20 PM, and I had an extremely disappointing and humiliating experience that I feel compelled to report.
I went to buy an item costing £1.40 and paid with coins ? £2.40 in total ? because I wanted to reduce the amount of loose change I was carrying. I politely told the woman at the till to just take £2 and return 40p to me. Instead of responding clearly or respectfully, she immediately showed visible irritation and gave me an attitude.
I repeated myself because it seemed like she ignored me, and again, her tone and body language were dismissive and rude ? making me feel like I was being a problem for simply explaining myself. She made it feel like what I was saying didn?t matter, and her face said it all.
As I moved aside to pack my things, I looked up and saw her make a mocking face to the next customer, which caused them to laugh. That made me feel publicly disrespected and humiliated ? like I was being treated as a joke in front of others.
When I asked her, ?Is there something funny?? her response was, ?Don?t create a scene.? That was shocking to hear ? I hadn?t raised my voice or been rude. I simply asked a question after being clearly mocked. Then she told me to ?get out of her shop.? When I pointed out that she doesn?t own the shop, she responded by claiming she is the owner ? which, if true, is even more concerning.
The entire experience left me feeling hurt, embarrassed, and unfairly treated. I understand people have bad days, but if someone is working in customer service ? especially as a supposed owner ? they should maintain basic respect and professionalism, no matter what. I did nothing wrong except pay with coins and ask a question.
This happened at approximately 2:20 PM, so I hope management will review who was on shift and look into the matter seriously. No customer should ever be made to feel disrespected or mocked in front of others.

These days we got the love layer on more after all small businesses because we shouldn't care about the big businesses we should look after all I will look for convenience stores instead all Tesco's care about is your profit and a small business I don't mind that swap but they should be called the co-op not because they said all course starting now good work holder
